    I made floor mats from a rubber stall mat from Tractor Supply. Kubota sells mats now for about $150.00. Stall mat is about $30. I understand there is a rubber air vent under the seat that if plugged with a round object just a little bigger than the hole you will lose very little hydraulic fluid.

      @@DudeRanchDIYJake::04.04.22., They started off at 18 to 21 in. sapling. At around 8' to 10' tall, we start removing the lower limbs that triggers a growing spurt. So now using this bit of knowledge, we're looking at. Approximate 18 to 20 ft. logs. So quite simple, its like growing rows Red Oaks like rows corn for 20 years. Just got back from Charleston S.C., my old's son Nick's 37 birthday. and jot to meet more of the in-laws that didn't make the wedding. My two fingers are getting a little, so I'll catch you on the next one .

    At 400 hrs. aren't you supposed to drain/change the trans fluid as well?

    • @DudeRanchDIY
      @DudeRanchDIY  Před rokem +2

      Trans & hydro fluid are one in the same on the tractors. I flushed and changed it at 200 hours due to the amount I lost the first time when changing my hydro filter. After talking to my dealer they said the next time I would need to change is around 800-1000 hours depending on use.

    Good video. I got some very nice mats for my L3901 from ITC quick attach they don’t cover the hump but I’m thinking of taking it off a spraying it with bed liner. Also I like your grill guard is it a 511?

      @DudeRanchDIY  Před 2 lety

      Thanks I’ll have to check those mats out…yeah I’ve thought about bed lining that panel as well though I’d prefer something not as permanent. Yep the grille guard is from 511, I love it. Very high quality.

      Front bearings? I hope I’ll never have to change those. Changing the front axle case oil will happen at 800 hours. Beyond that the front end is pretty much maintenance free beyond greasing.

      @@DudeRanchDIY little tip for ya ,if that tractor has hydraulic fluid in the front axle "which is what they came out with" regular gear oil is recommended "per kubota" yes bearings are an issue because of this

  • @Ramdodge582
    @Ramdodge582 Před rokem

    what's with the shop vac? you are supposed to change oil the hydraulic oil at every 400 hours. drain that shit at all locations.

    • @DudeRanchDIY
      @DudeRanchDIY  Před rokem

      I had messed up at a previous service interval and drained all that hydraulic oil already around 300 hours so I didn’t change it here.

    • @stevenreeves4766
      @stevenreeves4766 Před 10 měsíci

      so if you had already replaced the oil why replace the filters if you had already done that?@@DudeRanchDIY

    • @DudeRanchDIY
      @DudeRanchDIY  Před 10 měsíci

      Because the filters require changing at more frequent intervals than the entire hydraulic fluid system

    • @stevenreeves4766
      @stevenreeves4766 Před 10 měsíci

      This is not true, according to the service manual change filters and fluid at 50 hrs, then every 400 after that. if you changed them at 200 and then not again until 800 is out of spec. changing fluid and filters early never hurts though but the filters should be changed at the same time as the fluid.@@DudeRanchDIY
