You forgot about the part where you fight gigantic monsters the size of houses or small islands and somehow only manage to carve off a tiny handful of parts to use later.
No wonder Dalamadur was left dead to decompose and form the rotten valley-
Canonically you’re only ever allowed some of the parts off the monster, the rest go to the guild as a part of their fee for allowing you to take the quest.

OMF I laughed so damn hard at the flexing part, I hate it so much when you're low on health and your character has to flex after drinking a potion despite the fact that there's a giant fucking monster coming right for you
+I like nice cream and when I got frozen etc,I have to run very slowly,and when the ice break I have to flex,wtf,got hit most of the time

Monster AI attack have pattern and isnt that hard to doge but that mud/ice/paralyze/stun is super annoying,90% of the reason I ever die
+I like nice cream It's why I hate the poison element so much. For example, at Azure Rathalos, I had to keep using antidotes because the poison would kill me within seconds if I didn't, but I still had to deal with the giant monster of death barring down on my, readying another poisonous tail swipe that tracks you. High and G-Rank poison is infuriating because no matter your health, you get hit once and you need to use an antidote or else you'll be dead. I'd rather fight a monster that can kill me in two hits than a strong poison one, because I can at least dodge the monster and use different strategies and play cautiously. With poison you get hit once and it's a 3/4 chance you're getting hit and killed in that idiotic animation. I think MHX still has it, but I hope MH5 gets rid of the muscle flex. I'm okay with the animation time length, I guess, as it does add an extra layer to battle difficulty, but if they just replaced the idiotic muscle flex as a monster charges at you, ready for the kill with maybe an actual drinking animation that doesn't involve you downing the whole thing in one swallow, then I'd be fine. I would still LOATHE poison. but at least I don't hate the character on the screen when I die because of the animation.
+David Bruder I know your pain, I just recently finished farming the high rank purple gypceros and its damn poison is what killed me 100% of the time. And I hate how much it spams it poison attacks, especially that stupid running poison move it has, it makes it look like a dumb anime school girl running towards you except it's a wyvern and its spewing poison everywhere.
Apparently that bunny is so powerfull, it kills you 3 times in a single hit

JAJAvsWORLD Only if you are not well equipped, and for the most part one does not simply complete a G rank quest with no fails!

FU and 3U's G ranks were nightmares. 4U's is a lot easier I find, up until G3. The transition from high to G wasn't nearly as bad as in the previous games.

what do you mean by pain? The potion flex is the single greatest thing in monster hunter.
He means that in World you can move when drinking a potion and in old games you got stuck in place and were 90% prone to getting an Ass whooping

Everyone can "enjoy" the pain of flexing after taking a sip, missing attacks because hitboxes don't exist, and getting hip-checked by Plesioth from across the planet.
PSA: Please don't knowingly subject yourself to this torture. I have and for some inconceivable reason, cannot drop this game and so continue to make myself suffer.

Sharpening the weapon is an interesting enough dynamic... though as a bow user I generally don't have to worry about it.
SotiCoto even though the pose is really stupid, but it's balancing the game, otherwise we just need 1 second to heal.

The reason why the monsters are so huge and the hunters are so athletic is because they live in a very rich and oxygenated world with all plant life and fresh vegetation for every part of the ecosystem . There's no industrial pollution or humans for greed at consumption of natural resources to make a personal profit. Everything is at one. Untill these monsters start throwing off the food chain. Then you gotta send in the hunters.
This...actually makes some sense as to why even fledgeling hunters are always in *beyond* peak physical shape, despite their...unique eating habits and whatnot.
Actually, it probably is for gravity, it would explain a lot about size of the monsters and weight of weapons and armors. Not fuking air. It makes no sense

@@xenomorphoverlord did you know that they were that big to prevent oxygen poisoning during the larva state? And that humans and animals have a total different body than the insects? If you were right, we should be bigger than normal, instead gravity would explain some things too, like for the weight of weapons and for size of monsters.
but lower gravity would mean weaker muscles, hunters wouldn't be able to swing a sword with their weak hand like it's a pocket knife. And hunters with a Lance can sprint so fast they are their own horse! again, carrying it with their weak hand. I'll go for the super genetics, i mean it's a world where plants make gunpowder and some people evolved from wyverns.

I was hoping for a clip about the gallons of blood enemies loose every time you strike them, that seems to make no impact on them whatsoever.
You could literally fill a pool with the blood that comes from hitting a Great Jaggi before you even take it to half health.

It's a excellent weapon. You most likely just don't know how to use it right. And before you get all defensive about my comment watch a tutorial and see.
Timing and precision. If you want to go ape shit on a monster go dual and use energizer then use that item that doesn't consume your stamina for a certain duration. And Monster Hunter mechanics is like this
Slash / Combo / Dodge / Get Hit / Item / Repeat

You run around, move faster than every other weapon in the game(seriously GS is stupidly mobile), find openning SMACK WITH UNSHEATHE and screams HOLY SHIT IT FEELS SO GOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOOK AT THOSE BLOOD COMING OUT FROM THE MONSTERS VEINS!
Also when you git gud, then everything changes. Your fighting against teostra. Teostra is all like feels so smart and use Ass Powder. Of course your pro now so you are so smarter than teostra. The best way to counter Ass Powder is to stop pounding at Teostra Ass, so you go into the lion face, start charging your level 3 Charge and pull the X button and screams "CURSE YOU AND EVERYTHING YOU STAND FOR." Then you stab him on the face and screams "YOU THINK YOU SO SMART YOU CAN BURN ME WITH THAT ASS POWDER?" Then you charge your Level 3 Smash on the ground, screaming "LET ME SMACK YOUR FACE UNTIL YOUR HORN BREAKS. CANT BURN ME IN YOUR FACE WHEN YOU ARE BURNING YOUR ASS CAN YOU!?" and then unleash super swipe and goes "YOUR SUPERNOVA IS NOTHING AGAINST MY BIG BANG SWIIIIIPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEE"
P.S. Yes the screams are required. Also Its important to make a new line of screams for each monster. Theres 98 Monster in the game so you need to make 392 Lines during your hunt. Some hunter reportedly have a different ser of lines depending on which part they hit. Good luck, may the Great Sword god be with you.
screwtokaiba What fans of the GS don't get is that everyone else just find it pretty damn boring to play like that. Its not rocket science how to use a GS, its the most simple strategy in the damn game! A lot of people just find it boring. I am not saying it don't need any skill but the strategy is as simple as it gets. You want to learn to use a hard weapon? Try to master the Hunting Horn or the guns instead.

I've never played a Monster Hunter game, but I remember enjoying fighting against a few MH enemies in Peace Walker. Trying to tranq those things was a bit of a pain, though!
