Officially opened to the public on Oct. 27, 2023, this is the 4th SM Supermall in the province of Batangas and the 85th SM Supermall in the Philippines!
That mall sits along the Maharlika Highway with 110,000 square meters of gross floor area!

Cristina Daluz-Jamandron, public relations manager of SM City Sto. Tomas said some of the mall’s features give a “Singapore feel.”
“Ito po yung pinaka una na modern, Singapore-style mall of SM. Yung architectural design is para tayong nasa Changi Airport,” she said in the video, adding that SM also incorporates sustainability principles in its business, just like Singapore’s famous airport.
(This is the first modern, Singapore-style mall of SM. Its architectural design is like we’re in Changi Airport.)

I was there too! The most beautiful SM mall so far. If SM City Grand Central and The Podium had a baby - this would be it. The splash of blue in the supermarket is so easy on the eyes. The 4 hour trip was worth it LOL

wow...cguro dahil din sa pinaka first modern SM mall na Singaporean style ito sa bansa kaya na enganyo ang mga businesses dyan na makauna at saka dahil din nga sa kakaibang style nito na napakagnda nga namn. we live at ponte verde for 5 years and first time kame naka experience ng heavy traffic due to SM Santo tomas opening, the 5-10 minute ride became 1 hour and 15 mins due to insane heavy traffic. but the good thing is may tambayan na kame every night at ang gandaa!! thanks for covering the grand opening po!!

Very good selection of stores. Nice layout, feel and view of Makiling. Beats a number of SMs in the metro. That's a large Cyberzone -reminds me of Megamall but if it were as new as Podium. Sto. Tomas seems to be on a roll.

Pinoys really love going to malls. If you look at it, it's not really that much different from other SM malls in terms of the stores and restaurants but people still flock. I'm already stressed out by the amount of people.
The distances between these malls in the provinces are pretty far. Ppl would really flock to these malls. The brands are familiar, but I say they are common in the metro. In a province like this, a different story.

This Mall is in close proximity to nuvali, sm calamba, sm sta rosa, sm san pablo, victory mall, etc... This is also the 4th sm mall in Batangas province. Filipinos just love malls.

Considering the humid weather, it's still a thing here. Most malls are one stop shop, including some government satellite offices are tenants.
Each city in the Philippines has at least 3 malls. It will always be trendy due to the humid weather. Also, malls in the Philippines aren't like those in the United states. Malls here offer almost everything- supermarkets, restos, cafe, arcades, government satellite offices, sports stores, lounges, cinemas/theater, entertainment zones, medical clinics, playgrounds, barbershops/salons, driving schools, cyberzones, and many more.

Natatawa ako at akala nang mga maraming pilipino na maganda ang malls at di nila alam pinapatay yung maliliit na nagnenegosyo at halos ung mga presyo ang malls na nagtatakda...kaya pamahal na nang pa mahal..halimbawa ang sinehan nuon sa labas nang malls meron pa at ang baba pa nang presyo kahit buong pamilya kaya pa..ngayon 350 pesos pataas na at lahat nasa malls na yung mga palabas wala nang nanunuod ikakain mo na lang...at yung mga empleyado nila puro halos hindi regular at walang benefits kasi 6 months lang contratual ...ang yayabang nang pilipino akala nila ok ang malls...at wala kasi tayong public places gaya nang park
