Tell me about it. One of my sisters stole that same exact amount of money from me too and when I got upset with her she just acted like I was the one that stole something from her. That first episode made me a ride or die for Tamika. I understand her so much better now! She’s always felt alone and like she wasn’t good enough. And that’s because she grew up in a home being alone and treated like she wasn’t as good as her sister. And to the ones that commented, asking why Tamika brought her daughter to the sit down with her mom and sister … Because she wanted support! Her daughters are her support system since she doesn’t get that from her mom and sister. They gang up on her and Mike it 2 against one. So she has support when 1 of her daughters is there.
Not to mention, her daughter is in her late 20’s, so this is completely appropriate. I would be there for my mother the same way. Saddd, from the mama all the way down.

From the many interactions I've seen her have with her husband, it seems like she is scared of him. She disguises her fear of him by hiding behind him by letting him take over on her "behalf".

Although Tamika is the youngest of the two sisters she's the outgoing and likeable one that makes friends easily. Kandi and Tiny are her friends from school, so that says a lot right there.

I remember some years ago Tamika saying her mother was managing their money. The mother took $10,000 of her and her sister money and gave it to the church. The pastor made an announcement during service thanking them. The sisters didn’t have a clue the mother donated their money without their consent. The mother and the sister are a mess. The husband is using her …this is one of R.Kelly guys from his camp. Family can be worse then a stranger.

I think Tocha needs to heal from all the bad experiences, from weight jokes to other things. She is gorgeous, talented and has overcome a lot that's more than enough to celebrate.

@@lovey_charm no I agree, there wasn’t an initial lead in the beginning. Kandi was on most of the leads on their first album, with Tocha assisting her with the leads here and there. But as time went on Tocha became the frontman and led on most of the songs, that’s where some of their problems began. By the 3rd album Tocha had officially became lead of the group, hence her diva attitude.

It causes trust issues. If you can’t trust your own Mom and sibling, you tend to either search for the connection else where…. your granny, aunt, older female cousin or that “ play or God mother. You love your actual mother, but you never really feel loved. And anytime they’re nice, it’s because they have a motive. Oh, and don’t you dare have a relationship with your father( the man that made your mom bitter) cause you will really be outcasted. The sad part is, that sibling that the narc mom favors will not wanna be bothered with the mom in old age, unless an inheritance is involved. Yea, I'm late to the party. I literally watched the entire season, yesterday. It was a good show, I hope it is back for a second season. But after the dragging Latocha has endured on social media, I question if she may want to come back. THOUGH, since her gospel career seem like it may be DOA, she may not have much choice.
Whew, lordy, Toscha and her mother are gaslighting the hell of of Tamika! Tag-teaming her left & right as they reject valid concerns, her explanations of misconduct against her, and the relentless browbeating to discredit her & make her think she's imagining wrongdoings. AWFUL. This is why her mother tried to stop the filming in this scene: the jig is up and people outside of their family circle can see clear as day that there is dysfunction and favoritism, with Tamika getting the short end of the stick (not to mention the short end of royalties she worked for and deserves). It's terrible to see someone have to endure this kind of treatment from the very people you would think are looking out for them and protecting them..

All I see is ungratefulness. This is an opportunity for the Scott sisters to get ahead financially. Kandi and Tiny already have tons of money. This reality show for Kandi is her making money coins for her retirement. The sisters need to remember where they were before the reunion of xscape and be grateful that this door has open again. Too many times opportunity comes, and we don't appreciate it. The Braxton family could have done what the Kardashians did, (build an empire) but they too missed an opportunity to build their brand. All they did was fight! It shows that some families say they are united and loving but the camera reveals the truth!

Is it really okay for a family to shame each other publicly? Especially on a subject such as this. Mama and two sisters should have resolved privately when it occurred. The money should have been returned to whomever it was owed.

I think Tocha always felt deep down that she was the moment, but her outward appearance in their prime didn't align with that notion and couldn't back that up according to industry standards. To be fair, she should have received her flowers because mama sang us down for decades. But, now that she has lost weight and thrown on a blonde wig and some eyelashes, she really thinks she's a whole beyonce out here. Then her mom has the nerve to mouth "she's jealous " while Tamika is talking. Jealous of what? Please run down all of the accomplishments that Beyonce (Tocha) has outside of her success in Xscape that would make Tamika jealous. I'll wait.

Exactly, she really comes off like she is aiming to be the Beyonce of the group, the one who breaks out and has a successful solo career. She WANTS to project confidence but I can tell that she is still insecure with herself though, she was such a negative presence in almost every single scene, someone that is happy within themselves would not act the way she does.
That whole scene is feelings like a moment on a Tyler Perry play, and sad part is that it's really Meka's reality! 😔
