There's actually an impressive amount of interesting level gimmicks added for a rom hack.
I always like it when Rom hack creators go the extra mile to add a ton of new shit while keeping in some old to make it feel like a new game with some returning assets.
I have to say, The music for Crystal Mountain at 18:11 is calming, even with SMW instruments. Love that bass too.
Whoever made that music is so fucking good.

This hack is so aesthetic it should be illegal. The music choices, level design and palette choices are the equivalent of 80's city pop playing to an 80's anime gif

The Nazi thing is the ONLY thing to be omitted, everything else about this masterpiece is phenomenal! The music is unbelievably extraordinary, even the Kirby, Crash, and Banjo etc re-imaginings are amazing. Great game....period!

Well, aside from comments about the Nazi jokes, I have seem the author progress on SMW Central and, yes, HE CHANGED A LOT OF THINGS (he even asked for suggestions). And what can I say is: the author is making a huge effort! And after all this is a Demo... Let's wait until mid year of 2019 to see this TRULY ALIVE.

The graphics aren't astonishingly new and original, but the aesthetic of the settings and their color palettes are very good. The gimmicks look interesting and cool.

This game looks FANTASTIC! The level designs, the environments, the overworld, the WALL JUMP(Hell Yeah!), the enimies, the gameplay, and especially the MUSIC, are all PHENOMENAL! The whole look and layout just feels RIGHT to the Mario franchise! WOW, super impressive! I want to play this game SO BAD and having a physical copy would be absolutely AMAZING! so much to love about this rom, the music, the level design, the addition of new mechanics and enemies, i really liked the seiken densetsu 3 underground music. that was a nice touch.
38:00 I like the idea of grabbing the balloons alot better than the balloon powerups that were in the original Super Mario World. They look less tedious.

Hitler and Bowser are both 6 letters long. There didn't need to be a placeholder, he could have just wrote in Bowser in the same time it took him to place Hitler's name there. He clearly wanted Hitler to be the villain.

I like the crash bandicoot music in the beginning, and the way it looks when so much transparent effect is well used.
Some of the best music I've ever heard in a Mario World hack, simply stunning! The art direction is very focused as well. Props to Pink Gold Peach, for real.

This is pretty cool. I imagine that if Nintendo and SONY didn't have issues with the Nintendo PlayStation, the planned SMW2 would have looked similar to this. Not quite Yoshi's Island, but definitely better looking than SMW1. Definitely appropriate for the time. Sadly we got a Philips CDi and Mario's Wacky World alpha. lol. But then again, we also got Yoshi's Island which wasn't supposed to be SMW2, but its own branch, but they up and gave it the title SMW2 anyway.

The whole hack is really cool and the music is awesome, but I’ve got to agree with what others said: the Nazi jokes aren’t funny, they are just tasteless and off-putting.
Want to parody Nazi? Then why not put General Guy from Paper Mario as the final boss and have him want to overthrow the island with his Shy Guy troops? It would both work as a reference and as a way to make the lore more Mario-like. The jokes as well can be updated accordingly.
Otherwise, the only way in which Hitler would work would be by making a hack rom that mimics history and have the rom as a retelling of WW II. That would make it for an interesting experience without the “feeling” of having put edge for the sake of edge.

No offense but just because this isn't your kind of joke doesn't mean it's bad automatically. Not every fan game needs to be closer to Mario lore. I think it's kinda funny to sometimes have a direct reference. I remember there was this fan game that made direct nazi references, well kinda. Not sure on everything but I think some form of concept maybe cool. Though I think it was more serious.
