- Wednesday, June 3rd and my fourth day of touring ... today's goal was getting to the highest point in North Carolina (and east of the Mississippi) - Mount Mitchell. After that, it is enjoying the Blue Ridge Parkway, Little Switzerland, 226A the Diamondback, Linn Cove Viaduct and a lunch stop at Town Tavern in Blowing Rock.
I was just cruising taking it easy and enjoying the mountain views and roads.

Great video and pics. I'm thinking about doing that bit of the Parkway and more in March or April of 2021. I've been up that way many years ago, need to go back. These days I'm riding a 2004 BMW R1150RT. Thanks for posting this. You have a wonderful bike and you certainly can ride it.
