Great reaction, this is going to be a little long.....
Long time Selena fan here. That was her last EPIC televised concert at the Houston Astrodome. Although she made a couple more after but we're brief and short. This was February 26, 1995. She sadly passed away a few weeks later on March 31, 1995. By a deranged lunatic manager of her fan club Yolanda. Yolanda was stealing from Selena and she got caught. Yolanda shot her in the back while Selena was leaving.. she's doing life now.. she starts this concert with a disco Medley. I highly recommend you react to the disco medley. All her songs are timeless,but here are a few of her English ones:

It's true what you say about singers nowadays trying to show off skills that don't match the songs. They'll be doing vocal gymnastics instead of committing to the song needs. It's a very Hispanic for singers to use chest voice mostly, btw.
