Huge Drum Sound in 5 Minutes?
From today it is really possible!
Do you want a fat sound that makes the earth tremble?
In this video we will see how to get those very deep, full and powerful sounds that turn our drums into a thundering storm. And all this in 5 minutes!
The fat sound fits well with many musical genres, from classic rock to pop to metal. It's a nice strong, powerful and deep sound that will make your drum sound twice as big.
Going to tune the toms with the method that I explain in the video we will get the deepest possible sound that we can get on our drums.
Fat Sound: Unscrew all the screws of the rims and tighten them by hand to bring them back to the initial situation (the head of the screw must rest only on the rim) both on the striking and resonant side.
Then we apply constant pressure with the hand to the center of the skin until wrinkles are formed.
Maintaining the same pressure we go to screw the screws (without following any precise pattern) until the wrinkles have completely disappeared from the skin.
We perform this procedure on both the batter side and the resonant side and that's it!
