I have a question, so I've applied for on campus res at UJ, and my application was successful for the female res right. However, they didn't state in the email which res i have to go to? I'm quite confused now. Would i have to first register before knowing which res is assigned to me?

i think when they accept you & you register they will also send another email stating which res you have been allocated to

Do you pay your own registration or you wait for NSFAS/Bursaries to pay your registration

NSFAS takes time to pay fees so to avoid losing your space to other kids because UJ works on a first come first serve basis i'd suggest to pay your own then you'll apply for a refund later on in the end . so don't wait especially if you are not orange carpet .

yes aslong as that res is accredited

yes , but if you using NSFAS you'd have to top up with your own amount as the NSFAS accommodation money is capped at 5k per month . another problem is that UJ doesn't want NSFAS students to top up
