Looks good I had my cylinders like that till I did three wheel and the bolt snapped off so I put powerballs on after that.

Whoever lifted your car kinda cut some corners it’s not horrible but could definitely have been better. They should’ve used a heims joint instead of welding that piece of pipe or steel bushing to the cylinder. If you can’t grind it off and screw in the power ball you may have to get new cylinders. Yeah they most definitely did and I'm realizing this 18 years later. I used to drive it everywhere and hit the switches on anything and everything lol. It never broke down. Which is why I'm surprised. I'm planning on buying new cylinders when I add the power balls. Thank you for watching 🤝💯

Yeah, I bought it in 2001 and had the hydros installed in 2005. Drove it hard for about 2 years and parked it. Tried to bring it back out in 2009, but it didn't work out. So, I finally started on it again in 2020 or 2021, something like that.

Nice man, I had shocks in mine but i dont think they were doing much as they weren't heavy duty truck shocks. might look at replacing them with shocks out of a blazer. ext is only to 22" and down to like 14" so it will get you low to the ground. I do have a set of Monroe 32225 because i have 12" rams at the back but they wont allow the car to go low.
Good to know my car isnt the only one that sounds like that in the rear with the squeak noises lol
Good to know. I'll look into those other shocks. It was making the noise because they needed to adjust after putting them back in. If you'll look at the beginning of the video, it wasn't making that noise. I don't like that sound, to be honest, lol

Are your batteries low? Cuz running 6 to the rear it should come up with 2 licks
No, they were fully charged. I have front coils cut down to about 4 or 5 turns in the back. Plus, I have 12 inch cylinders, so it takes more than 2 hits to fully lock up. Thank you for watching 🤜🤛💯

Is it safe take hose off while car is lifted or needs to be dropped any help is appreciated
It needs to be dumped. If it's lifted and you remove the hose, oil will go all over the place. The cylinder will be under a lot of pressure.

I might not run shocks for a while. I don't know off the top of my head. I'll get the part number off the shocks and send it to you.

That's how they were installed back in '05. I didn't know much about hydros. I just wanted my Regal to have hydros, that's all I knew 😂. Now I'm doing it all myself 💪💯
