Erdington Station has three ghosts. Besides the telephone box ghost, there is a monk running around under the railway bridge, and a Victorian lady haunts one of the platforms. The telephone box is gone now by the way. I never knew the background story to that one, just that a woman has been seen frantically making calls. I had been told it was something to do with the war. Interesting that it was a house fire - so sad that is! Thank you for telling the whole story about this haunting. These days Erdington is also haunted by a different kind of ghosts - the drug addict kind. Erdington has turned very rough over the last 20 years or so, and white flight has completely finished it off.
