Hi, i have Bulls lacuba evo 10,and it won't charge the battery, but it charges it if I hold down the button to turn on the display. I have to say that the battery was completely discharged before that. I currently have it charged to 15 percent.
I have a electric 2.0 and the up button or plus button works but the minus button doesn't work .I just changed stock Freewheel to better one .going from 0 to 5 on pedal assist works fine ..it's going from 5 on down to 0 or minus button doesn't work,any ideas?.thank you

I have a new electric trike. After assembly it wont power up. In the brain box there are two white connectors male and female that are not plugged in. Wondering if this saves the battery during shipping. Should i plug them in?
Hi, I installed throttle mode to my e-bike it works perfectly with PAS but when I turn the front lights on PAS doesn't respond, do you know what can be the issue? (I added a front light to my e-bike before that is connected to the original light, so both turn on with the same button)
Greg, the controller is the reader of the battery. We have a great video explaining how the controller works and how to remove/replace a controller on an ebike. Check it out!
My trike manufactured by Wuxing continues to blow the small 6 amp fuse at the charge port connection, the battery was recently replaced (new X-go 36V battery) and now each time the throttle is actuated the fuse blows, can you suggest or recommend a possible fix. Thanks in advance any help is appreciated...
Hi Dave, was that battery made for that bike? The BMS (battery management system) is different in different batteries and not universal. You can't just attach any battery to any bike and go. It sounds like your motor is drawing more amps than the BMS can handle. I would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer and seeing if they have a bigger battery that is compatible with their system.
Hi Rafael, according to Nakto's website, error code 10 is a connection issue. So try unplugging and plugging back in all of the connections. Be careful when plugging the connections back in because if it's not lined up correctly you can bend and or break the terminal. Hope this helps!
I don’t seem to have any connections near my handlebars. Any chance you know where they could be? I have an internal battery so wondering if they could be hidden in there?
Hi Amelia, without knowing what brand and model ebike you have it's difficult to say where the connections are. We have worked on lots of ebikes that are internally routed. Sometimes you even have to take out the front forks to get the battery out and access the connections. So it's definitely possible that your wires are hidden in the frame. If you're in San Diego, you could always bring your ebike into our repair shop where we specialise at working on ebikes.

any suggestion- my ebike (assisted) only starts once, if i turn off, i can not turn it on withouth reseating battery (must remowe/reinstall) battery, only than bike powers on; and again, if swithed off, same procedure to start it...
It sounds like theres potentially a bad controller on your bike. The controller being the the piece your battery slides onto. Normally a bad battery won't be able to power up at all, so the fact that you're able to get some life out of it means there's simply a reader connection failure. We have a video showing how to remove and replace a controller. You will have to source a new controller with the manufacturer of your bike.

You will need to make sure that the prongs within the cables are correctly fitted. Generally there is an arrow on either end of the connection and those arrows should match up. You can also look and see the prongs on either end of the cable and make sure to match them up.

Life saver, idk why I didnt think to try and tighten the barrel connectors. I just know I had a faulty battery or engine. Thanks so much sir

I need to replace my display, how do I safely unconnect the connectors without damaging it? I don't wanna force it. Anyone 🙏 🙏
How did you do that disconnect? Explain the theory behind the controller and how that works.

How do u check your ebike power button when it won't move when you press it to turn on our off
Hi Oscar, the 'o' should be off and the '-' should be on for the Tower battery. Hope that helps.
