Did you read my mind? Yesterday I was telling my husband that I was confused about all the types of inks and how to use them, and what I could use alcohol with, etc. And here you are to the rescue. Thank you Connie for making this video for me.
How long did it take me to learn all this and did I know it all? No! It is hard to inundate new customers with all that info, but you have put it so thoroughly and simply. It will be a big help to print off your list and let customers have it and use it. Thank you doesn't begin to say how much all your help is appreciated. Have a great day!
Just yesterday, I was wondering which ink to use for acetate. Opened my you tube app and BAM, THERE’S CONNIE with exactly what I needed!! You rock it girl,! Thx so much. Love all your videos. If there is ever a limit on how many videos a person can save on here, I’m totally busted,, ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I am thrilled to have this download. I have heard how to use these various pads, but by the time I get ready to use them, I forgot which one to use. Now I cannot go wrong. This is a very appreciated download! :)
Awe Connie Stewart, this is the BEST, BEST resource video EVER. I always get confused and now think I am on a clear path as to what to use and when. Thank you SO MUCH.
This is so timely...I'm starting with Fall and Christmas cards and am questioning myself on which inks I can use to get which effect I want...thank you for this video, it is right on the mark for me. Have a wonderful day.
It's always been a puzzle to me as to what ink pad to use, until today, thanks so much for your "Tuesday Tips" have been going through them and they have been a great, thanks from across the pond x
FANTASTIC & HELPFUL VIDEO, Connie! Not only GREAT for “newbies” but also WONDERFUL for us “oldies”, too, who often need “reminders”!! :-) Definitely appreciate the download of the info you’d shared today! THANK YOU oodles! Have a Happy, Crafty Day with whichever inks you choose! :-))
Hi Connie Very informative, however one thing you did not cover.....which ink do you use when coloring with the stamp and write markers? Thank you for all your helpful tips!? Love watching you. Hugs to you
Stazon is the first pad I bought because I didn't know better. It was jet black and I was looking for black. Then someone used Memento and I decided to give it a try. What a difference! I bought some retired stamps on eBay and they came with Delicata ink pads. I didn't know I had to wait for it to dry and I wasted a perfectly good sample for my son's wedding invitations. I had used it with a swirl to go over the words - you did that with a tree inside a card; it looked great but it didn't dry properly so I told them that twirl wasn't an option because it made a mess. I will retry this on another card and see. Thank you for the cheat sheet. Nicole
Your videos are always helpful, I was having a lot of confusion about which ink pad to use for what and now I have a helpful guide from you, thank you, Connie!
Remember the C-D-Ps of inks, too: Chalk, Dye, and Pigment. Drying times vary (chalk dries quickest/pigment stays wet longest, and can be for heat-embossing stamped images) Great reference sheet -- nice printable for easy use (its's going in to my notebook along side my (2) Cardstock cutting guides [these have been very helpful]).
Thanks for the free, downloadable guide! It is concise and easy to keep near my work surface for reference. Heaven knows it is easy to forget which ink to use (especially when memory is already an issue!) and this will be a quick reference for me.
Thank You Connie! I hope to print this and put tape it inside my cupboard so I will always have it for a reference...☺️ Then maybe I'll use them more often....
Well Connie, you have done it again! This is such valuable information, and hopefully will save me from any more mess ups. I have unfortunately ruined any number of projects because I didn’t use the correct ink ☹️. I have this information printed out and in my binder for quick reference. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Connie, thank you so much for the wonderful tip on using Rubbing Alcohol in our blender pens instead of water, that was a WOW moment :) Goes to show you can always learn something new. xx
Brilliant idea Connie, there are so many ink pads out there is does really get confusing! Thank you so much for taking the time to do this video, I’m sure I’m not the only person who needs this 😂 thank you ☺️
Same question as Sandra Royer--I have a few SU blends, but a drawer full of SU markers. Which black ink pad is best if I'm using those? Great video-clear, concise, and full of great info. Thanks for adding the download to make it even easier to remember which pad to use..
I noticed another person asked this same question. Which ink can you use with Stampin Write markers? If you use Memento with alcohol based markers, won’t it smudge if you try to use it with the Stampin Write markers?
As usual this was very helpful. As a beginning stamper. I have products purchased that are. Not stamin Can I use a stampin up refill to ink on a memento dew drop ink pad if the colors are about the same.? Again thanks for the incredibly useful videos you give us!,
Thank you. I've al2ays been confused about the differe t I k types. Could you do a video about the differences between distress inks and distress oxide?

@@simplysimplestamping but don't the Stampin' Write markers bleed when you use them with the water-based ink pads?!
