Beethoven "Tempest" 3rd movement | Alexander Krichel | First Classical Drive-in Concert #3

After not performing on stage for about two months, this concert came to me as a real blessing. It was very unusual to walk on stage and - instead of hearing the applause - to look into a large group of honking cars. Still, despite the awkward circumstances and the distance one would expect from such a setting, the energy and positivity that came across almost moved me to tears.
It was an incredible boost to play this unique concert and it will stay in my heart forever.

Yes, it’s by the roadside with passing traffic and open air. Unbelievable the recording is so clear and clean. I never thought I would ever see a day when a Steinway grand piano is set up by the roadside in a classical music open air concert like this. I find the car horns interesting! 👍
