  • This video is an Acrylic/Mixed Media Demo on Fabriano 400g/m2 paper. The painting integrates photo montage with abstract painting. The video starts towards the end of the painting process as I pull it all together and add the final touches.

    Did u ever try putting alcohol on a rag to scrub over a spot too dark like your red circle. Pulls up the under color.

    So...what i am thinking there is too much on the page. The whole thing is so busy, . So you then make the strong paint to put on in larger areas this will push the busy bits back.
    Is that right?

    • @judywoodsart
      @judywoodsart  Před rokem +1

      Yes, identify which bits you like and which bits you don't like as much and then paint over those that you're willing to sacrifice for the greater good!

    Hi Judy! what are you using as a substrate? Is it canvas?

    Interesting, but I am surprised by the repletion of the telephone pole. The rest of the composition is unexpected. I guess anything goes.

    Hi Judy - I don’t know if you’ll see this before your workshop starts, but here goes anyway: I’m not a painter; I’m learning gel print/mixed media collage. Will collage be part of what you’re teaching? Watching work like what’s in this video is helpful. Thanks ❤

    • @judywoodsart
      @judywoodsart  Před rokem +1

      Yes, I use collage in both activities in my workshop
