Peng! I totally get what you’re saying, but the reason the market is on fire in my opinion is because we’re about to fully move over to ETH 2.0, and when we do, the next step will be staking OMI for specific collector tiers, interoperability (opensea), and cashing out..not to mention Veveverse! We haven’t even gone fully mainstream yet! Would love a response as to why with all these elements you still think it’s a good time to sell.

This could be the same situation where you sold your Risso for $4k and then it went to $25k. You keep referring to you paying $80 and it’s worth $12k crazy. what you paid for it has nothing to with it’s value today. People are paying 10’s of thousands for pics of rocks. So you must think millions of dollars for comics is crazy too. But they only paid 10 cents for it crazy. They have to go into a bear market because they were only 10 cents.
I understand selling some mermicornos and other things, but todd and risso? Its a risky move that might pay off, but if you intend not to buy back, I think that would be a mistake. This is the FA of batman on the blockchain. Technology is transitioning to the digital space, these have the potential to overtake their physical counterparts, especially with their future application and utility. If BAYC can fetch those type of figure I have no doubt in batman and co.

I liquidated my entire 100k VeVe portfolio this week -- I can now sleep great at night, just waiting for MTL or OMI withdrawal.
How are you keeping track of your taxes?
Think a lot of people forget, things will most likely go up but when is enough enough? You could hold forever but if you want to take profit, there is nothing wrong with that.

I appreciate the context and your opinion. I don't necessarily agree with selling Risso and Todd but respect it. I am selling others though to try and get grails if there is a dip. Whenever I list and it instantly sells I know I sold too early or to cheap

I would probably lock in some profit if I had the number of collectables you have, however, I don't believe there will be any hard crash in the near future as long as the user growth of the app continues. When user growth or capital influx starts to plateau thats when I think I look for the door on some things.

Those batmans are older than BAYC. They are all made by iconic artists in comic book world. Risso and Todd both are multiple award winning artists... if nfts get general adaptation those will be the biggest grails.

agree with your points but Todd might be the last one you want to sell. It was the first collectible in Veve and we know how important is "first" in the collecting and nft world. good video btw
If I bought at the drop floor Id be out on the big ones now too and spreading the investment over a wider collection. There are others coming on that are more likely to 10x than the blue chips at this stage in my opinion - mass user adoption will not bring in many people willing to drop 100k on an NFT. but buying now for 100 and going to 1000? yup. - great vid thanks for the insight.

The one thing you nailed right on, in this case, is the quantity and choice of collectibles is only ever going to increase, with the spotlight constantly being shifted from one collectible to another, where you can take advantage and keep flipping with good ROI. And the reallocation of gems to newer popular collectibles is a smart move... however imo, you are reallocating from the wrong collectibles. You're reallocating from "grails". I don't know what all you have but I see you have a lot, some that aren't as popular of IP as Batman, Spiderman, Disney. I'd be liquidating the much less popular IP, as an investor or the popular IPs is fine just not the FAs. You just sold your only Todd Batman, which is FA of a DC NFT on the blockchain ever...as well as FA of Batman on the blockchain and 1st ever collectible on VeVe which if becomes a world renowned name could be big. The same argument should be made for Marvel and Disney FAs on the blockchain and etc. There will be many more variations of Batman, Superman, Spiderman, Mickey etc. Which will all inevitably shine the spotlight back to the very 1st ever first appearances of these characters. It's a risky game like you're saying, especially when everything is euphoric. That's why as my core long term holds, I believe these will stand the test of time. Just my two cents.

Taking profits is always considered a good move, but I really do think that a Todd will be worth a lot more in 1 year
Selling grails for some lower class nfts that are gonna be non existent in a few years seems to me like a very bad decision. Like, people will care about risso, todd, spiderman, superman because they were the first. Nobody will care about others
I invested 4K in smallish NFTs. No grails or anything. But I did buy a little high. Then I bought some at 10-30% off. Still, the market has me -$250. So I’m done for now. The only positive thing is that I bought things I really like. I bought ghostbuster ecto 1 because I’m a big fan. So, I hope they go up in value, but if they don’t, it’s 4K not my entire savings. But I am done for now. It’s getting too expensive for me
I think a collector who is wanting to pay $100k or $500k or $1M for the FIRST digital collectable or real life copy will but both or either if they want to.....🤷♀️ That isn't a buyer worried about the market or money.

Youre talking about opportunity costs but you didnt recalculate / scaling veve mass adaption. 1.5 m user bubble...yes it could be. But it can be a bigger one with 15 mio user. Still no big crypto whales on board. Still no mass adaption on opensea. Still no omi bullrun. Still no omi to nft for rebalancing the omi gains. We are in an early stage of a bigger bubble.

Thats going to open to floodgates for people to cashout. You make the mistake of thinking money will just flow in and there wont be a bear market for Veve NFTs.
People will cash out….however people will join in. We are very early with only 1.4 million active users. If you think this is peak then guess again.

I respect the work you put into your videos. I find it truly baffling that all major crypto youtubers just look at pure wave and completely ignore the bigger narrative of why BTC is pumping and why the future outlook might not be as bullish as it seems. It's kind of irresponsible to ignore the fact that each ETF launch so far has caused a big swing in BTC spike . We were already on shaky footing with historically low volume and almost pure whale pumps, narrowly avoiding a long-term bear market. This is the worst possible time in history to invest as so many don't back up their crypto assets. Nope. He started at the beginning of VeVe when there wasn't so many users, and those batman series were during that period. You can see that he bought the golden skateboard for $324 on the secondary market at 06:56
