Joburg to Cape Town & Agulhas round trip camping - episode 1

A dream - that’s how it started since a bought my Sprite Splash in 2020 and after many trips had it upgraded to a Quantum Comfort in 2023. There was a meticulous planning in preparation to this trip and I’m glad to say it worked all well throughout our 17 days on the road. We live in Joburg and the plan was to go all the way to the Most Southern Tip of Africa stopping at a few campsites along the way. According to our plan we should not drive much more than 600km at a time and stay for at least 2 nights in each stop so we could have at least a full day to explore the area. As we approached the departure date, everybody was getting a bit nervous about the trip laying ahead: are we forgetting anything? Is anyone going to get sick? Will we have any mechanical problem? Ultimately, are we going to have fun? We were all seeking answers for these questions and many other ones were floating in our minds. On your marks, get set and let’s get going!
