  • I'm have a few things planned for next week, the official book launch for Neighbours at War, a book signing at Waterstones, Jersey and my interview with the Jersey Evening Post is probably coming out on Saturday. Mostly I'll be continuing to write the first draft of The Witch's Daughter (out 2025).

Wow, that does sound like a busy week. I am very intrigued by The Witch's Daughter and also Glynis Peters' The Witches of Weybourne, especially as it was inspired by Weybourne, Norfolk just over the border from me in Suffolk. I too am fascinated by all things witchy and pagan related so I shall be keeping my eyes peeled for both of these in the future. I don't cope very well with the heat, so I have been making the most of the cool June weather. I do hope Ru feels better soon and the vet finds nothing too serious.

Thank you, Tracy. I know very little about anything witchy, so have to research for the book. I never read books in the same genre as mine, or any that might have a topic someway related to it so am relieved I'll have finished my first draft before Glynis' book comes out. Glynis was even born on Halloween, the perfect date for anyone writing witch-themed books. I love the sun and warmth but not excessive heat and my studio can get very hot in the height of summer, so I haven't minded the cooler temperatures too much, just not the constant rain and grey skies. Poor Ru, I'm crossing everything that he's just suffering from some sort of infection and that it's nothing worse.

They were published in 2019 and published by Hera Books. I loved writing them, but have been so busy with my other books to write more since then.
