  • Ingenico has released a new pin pad the Lane 3000 that we have interfaced with several models of SAM4s cash registers. You will see in this video it is much faster and easier to use than the VX-805 we are all used to. This is still using the Datacap IP Tran LT or Tran Server interface. Contact us to see how to upgrade to a faster Lane 3000 pin pad today.

Why does it have so much trouble connecting to the IGP2030S ?? Any news on an update that might help with this issue? The IGP2030S keeps asking to set it to services selection but that does not appear on it's screen, selections start with utility instead of services like on the ICT220/250

Can you show the setup process. Like how to actually connect it to the register. I cant believe it didnt come with any instructions or anything. We've been down taking only cash for months I need to get this working😩

Where did you get it? Do you have the Datacap as well? We can help you via phone for a fee. That was never designed to be completely installed by an end user. There is too much set up in the back ground the end user would never even have access to. We ship them out but after pairing with the interface and testing. For us to help we would need to know the processor, the interface of the 3000, the encryption of the 3000, and the model and version of the interface you have. Quite a few other incidentals too but those are the important ones. Let us know if you would like to hire us to assist.

Anyway to do a swipe if people have a damaged card?

    • @CashRegisterGuysNBS

Do you mean if the chip does not read? If so I'm not certain I would take a chipped card that won't read. That would make you liable for the charge back and would be an easy scam. It has a swipe of course but may still ask you to insert the card knowing it has a chip.

Yes however not recommended. The bad guys damage the chip to force merchant to run manual transaction which a makes merchant 100% liable for the charge. Really bad idea

Does it do cash discount program

While the register does interface to electronic payments I don't believe it has been certified for any Cash Discount Program. However the register is capable of adding a surcharge. That maybe a good way to accomplish the cash discount program and then run the card for that amount the register comes up with. Should work.

You would have to give a little more detail on the issue but few things to take into account. The Lane 3000 has to be serial with power in this case. But, the biggest thing that keeps these from working is having the wrong encryption for your processor. When the interface nd encryption are correct they work great and run forever. Encryption depends on processor of course and also this will only work on a host based platform. There are a few other tweeks to do but without the stuff I already mentioned its a moot point.

@@CashRegisterGuysNBS Thank you so much ! Yes it's Lane 3000 with Serial + power in one cable linked to the SPS345. I guess i have to check with processor. Any information should i provide the processor please? Btw the Sam4s it's from you guys. Thanks

@@hamzatahar721 did we provide you with the interface yet? The Lane 3000 won't do anything without the interface.

      @@CashRegisterGuysNBS what interface?
I have: Sps345 + Lane 3000+ Datacap + Serial cable connected to to the cash regsiter that has also a power port.

@@hamzatahar721 The Datacap is the interface. If it is not working it could be the encryption, or perhaps the register software version. If you got it via my company we would be working with you on these issues so Im not certain you did?
