Join me as we board London Bus 55 from Central London's Oxford Street to Walthamstow Central. This route navigates through the Westend of London, passing the famous Oxford Street before heading eastbound. This video offers an authentic London bus ride experience with very minimal editing, captured on a winter afternoon with grey sky, passenger chatters throughout and London traffic. Another nostalgic trip for me my friend as are so many of your trips [I worked as a carpenter all over the place and after retirement delivered shop fitting materials and vans/cars for a van rental firm all over London and Essex] but this one especially as I lived a couple of streets away from Walthamstow Central for a few years. Thank you so much. You are making me yearn so much for May when I will be back in the best city of the best country in the world.

Yes, just avoid North London, South London and East London.
East London is safe
It's very safe. No issues in either parts of the city as long as you don't involve yourself with drug dealers and stabby teenagers.
Ignore the other person it is safe. A few weirdos around like any non east asian city but I've never had 1 moment of trouble in 22 years

What annoys me about English cities is that mostly along the highways a lot of houses have been converted into shops on the ground floor. Basically Georgian and Victorian houses have had the front garden walls knocked down and either the ground floors have been extended or converted into shitty little shops ruining the architecture of the area.
