@@allpigsloveme5350 It means that the survivors spend so long hanging around the killer waiting to blind them that they don't do gens.
@@allpigsloveme5350 survs that play too altruistic tend to slow themselves down more than any killer perk can. They see a survivor in trouble, they all leave gens to go save him. And by doing that they're wasting so much time. As evident by this video here also. You can definitely see how for the majority of the match, nobody is on gens. They gave him so much time to kill and that's why they lost.

I'd wager they might have had other perks like Botany Knowledge, and if Rebecca didn't have double batteries it's likely she had either Built to Last or Streetwise, or both.
I think they had Prove Thyself in the GhostFace match as well because they grouped up on gens but idk.
I THINK Claudette had a bulb add on of some sort? Her blinds seemed a bit quicker than Kate's, though idk too much about Flashlights personally, so I could be wrong
I THINK Claudette brought CoH in the GF match, they ran past the Boon at 5:35, and Kate started healing herself in the Boons radius, I do not think Kate had Self Care but I could be wrong!

I remember when flashlight blinds physically hurt because they literally turned the screen white, so you would go from dark map to pure white screen

Just don't care about winning. You gotta realize that it's okay to get squashed in a match. This is an asymmetrical game. Not every match is gonna go your way. It's okay to get completely destroyed every once in a while. Have that thought in your head and you'll never rage again. Just keep telling yourself, it's one of those games, it's nothing big. I'll do what I can and just move on.

I love the “E” echo. really good example of why it’s dumb to nerf eruption while leaving deadhard completely intact. You outplayed the survivor, and they hit E for a 3rd healthstate.
eruption (incapacitated effect) made survivors unable to play the game for 25 seconds. even if the survs arent on the gen, the gen loses 10% progress guaranteed. dead hard is countered by waiting a few secs, then downing them after
You can out play them even more by waiting two seconds and not panic swinging 🤯🤯🤯
Eruption doesn’t even need a nerf, it’s cool down is reasonable and all survivors have too do is continue gen rushing or go use exhaustion perks & take hits in chase for the team instead of standing still for 25 seconds 😱
@@genuine_john You are at quite low MMR if you really think DH can always be waited out. There are very many times where DH completely guarantees at least a 30s chase extension with zero counterplay if used right before a window or pallet.

Same here, when i see more than 2 flashlights, then i only use lightborn otherwise its a bad perk
@Suneel Kumar honestly I disagree. With them finding flash grenades in the chests more often now it's saved me multiple times and it's not like it's hard to win without any perks so it's really nice to have it when someone tries to Flashlight bully. In my opinion there's no such thing as a bad perk because you don't need any perks to win

@@luckyomen781 Yeah I know I was saying no mither to the idea that there is no bad perk. And while No mither CAN provide value you have to force it to give value which in my opinion a good perk is a perk that can give value on its own more than 60% of the time (assuming you're a competent player)

If I ever suspect a flashlight squad, I just put light born on. But still make it look like I don't. Alsways catches them off guard. And hilarious to watch them struggle to win because all they perks at like made around flashlights.
I don't even try to make it look like I didn't put it on, the amount of people that'll still try flashlight blinds even after failing the first few is actually crazy

@morrt8579 although I think the old animation was worse, the blinds in any FPS game is too disorienting in my opinion. You can achieve lack of sight with many other types of SFX

When i see 2+ flashlights is slap lightborn on. If they all swap to flashlights at last second so i cant swap to lightborn i simply will slug them all and let them bleed out.

You know this game as hit his lowest when survivors play just to bully, and the incredible thing is, that if the killer isnt actually an amazing player, they might actually win... what a sad state for a game so well known
Yeah I agree. They really need to do something about the gen kicking meta. It's not fun for either side to sit there for 30min in a back and forth over gens. Pretty sad that survivors have to run at the killer with flashlights and all that just to force an actual chase and not have the usual kick gen -> leave experience.

I thanked a flashlight squad once, they helped me finish my food quickly. The more I got blinded, the more time I had to eat. It was actually a pretty wholesome end game chat ngl, they were cool.

@@mar0chan928 considering you get free aura reading that lasts 10 seconds, negates blinds entirely, and turns bully squads into free kills, no it isn't a wasted perk slot.
@@JondarKorric it's a wasted perk slot 90% of the time. How many flashlight squads do you go against on a daily? 1 at max. Perhaps 1 in a week as well. It's not really a good perk when it's used once in 10 matches.
@@JondarKorric It's counterproductive, where a survivor could waste time following the person being chased trying for a flashlight save or waste time at a pallet or doing whatever technics they can do with FL, they do gen instead to move on, simple has that.
