    Wembenyama averaged 3.7 TO, second in the league and he's not even a point guard. Yet I didn't hear anyone criticize him on ESPN. Caitlin isn't a superstar, yet, but she is fourth in the league in assists playing on a horrible team.

      Caitlin team has been in the top 4 in draft picks since 2019, Victor 21 10 4 and 4 TO a game on 46 percent, clark 16 5 6 and 6 TO a game on 37 percent not the same

    • @benjaminsmith2287
      @benjaminsmith2287 Před 25 dny +3

      The thing is, she's better than her assist record. If you look at the easy looks she gets her team, she should have higher assists than what she has. Her passing is the outstanding aspect of her game over her shooting. Her shooting form is nice, but her percentages need to improve. But her passing really stands out. Don't look at stat sheets. Watch her game and watch others in the WNBA. Clark is a great passer.

      Yeah but wembanyama is a big that averages 21 and 10 with 4 blocks. Caitlin's game is shooting and passing. What her numbers are saying is shes shouting a lot and passing a lot at efficiency that many players could achieve at that volume. If shes not doing either on a high level what else is she doing. Wembanyama is also one of if not the best defensive player in the league.

I just wish they covered other girls so I can understand better and don’t gotta just watch cc grow. To me Katie Martin, Angel, and brink have been the best rookies and you see there impact right now. This stuff about turnovers is annoying because Luka Donkic lead the league in TOs last season. LBJ leads the NBA in them. OK he played 20 plus seasons but still, if you look at TO leaders in both the W and the NBA, some of the best players turn the ball over quite a lot. And yes, being unselfish and turning the ball over is a learning process. So, let's give the TO thing a rest. More to the point is Caitlin needs more versatility in her game. Use of a floater. A reliable midrange shot. She needs to get more free throws. She needs to work on her ball handling. Those are the things she needs to work on. I don't think she's as bad defensively as people say and she has games with multiple shot blocks. She has quick hands and can poke the ball away, especially from bigs. I see signs where she'll be a solid help defender. She's on a poorly coached team and she's missing her best chemistry player right now, Temi, the big that sets great picks and rolls well to the basket. I think she'll be better next season and maybe 2 years she'll be there. But I'm sorry, the nonsense and over-reporting on her on non-basketball crap, like Carrington's tweet, needs to stop.

    She is one of the stars of WNBA , it's just that her teammates aren't up to the pace of her game yet and it;s causing turnovers, once they get used to playing with each other the turnovers will stop, I;d argue her ability to run the game from the point guard position with her passing is her greatest asset and not her shooting.
