  • Hello darling bakers! I recreated my viral Condensed Milk Bread recipe into a bread roll or dinner roll. Still it's so soft and fluffy like bread pillows. I did some changes for easy kneading and more fluffier texture :)
    Here's what you'll need:
    DOUGH:
    1 cup milk (250ml)
    1 large
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk (150g)
    2 and ¼ tsp instant yeast (7g)
    4 cups bread flour (500g)
    1 and ½ tsp salt (7g)
1/2 cup unsalted butter (112g) softened
    GLAZE:
    1/4 cup salted butter (55g)
    1/4 cup condensed milk (55g)
    1. In a bowl, mix together milk, egg, yeast and condensed milk. Add flour and salt, mix until combined. Add softened butter and mix until full absorbed. Transfer to a lightly floured counter. Knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes.
    2. Place in an oiled bowl, cover for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
    3. Transfer to a floured counter. Divide into 12 equal pieces. Smooth into a ball and bench rest for 10 minutes.
    4. Roll out dough into rectangular. Flip smooth side down. Fold like elongated triangular. Roll tightly.
    5. Brush a 9x12 inches baking dish or pan with butter or oil. Place the bread roll. Cover for 30 to 40 minutes. Preheat oven at 170C/ 340F for at least 15 minutes.
    6. Beat 1 egg and 1 tablespoon milk. Brush egg wash on top of bread rolls.
    7. Bake for 25 minutes or until light golden.
    8. For the glaze: Mix softened butter and sweetened condensed milk.
    9. Brush glaze on hot rolls.
    10. Serve and enjoy!
