I came 2nd in TOADM's Facebook t-shirt design competition, but after 2 months I didn't get the prize, so I sent them an e-mail and they said could I make it to the next show. I was going to that one anyway. During the show I managed to get a guitar pick with their name on it. When the show ended, I went up to one of the security guards and showed them the email telling me I had come 2nd in the competition. He then took me backstage to meet the band for free, get my t-shirt with the design on it signed by all the band members, and a free hoodie. A couple of days later I got my prize in the mail, which included a signed copy of Savages, a t-shirt, and a cup holder with their name on it.

This song relates to me because I wanted to start a relationship with this girl, but she said that we should stay friends(friend zoned). I couldn't stop thinking about her. Saw them in concert about 8 years ago. They were really good. Great hard rock/ alternative sound. You can really tell that the music industry has taken their style over. They're soft now and the songs reflect that. I wish they would go back to heavier, more riff oriented music. It's a shame that the industry won't just let bands be bands.
