I've often wondered why my relatives did not migrate to Australia when they moved to Canada in the late 1800s. I love watching people walk the outback and just find gold. Amazing!
It's pretty amazing how much gold is still about here but how hard it still is to find(significant quantities).

If there is big gold in the holes. There could be small gold too! Id pan or dry wash a half cubic meter of the holes as well! I don't know the land there, however slot of places here are that way. There could be twice as much gold there too small for the detector!
I absolutely agree mate, we didn't have the time or resources to get that done on such a short trip. We were chasing bigger stuff, didn't really eventuate but we were happy with our results.

There's been a fair bit of rain through the Simpson recently I suppose this was filmed awhile ago I allways wonder how safe it is in the outback it's a tough country is aussie nice job fellas huge logistics involved I'll bet

@@SavageProspecting it's a miners camp/town so basically your on your Pat Malone all day the whole bay area to yourself , on a busy day maybe 5-15 ppl , shits all over Esperance, it's sure is beautiful land if you get past that 80 KMs sign of the town ya grew up in , good for us most don't , and whats noted on the maps as hot spots are shit , got to get of the beaten track then to the next horizon, did you see some trippy shit in the sky's out there in the never never , last harvest damm some of the shit going on in the sky's nothing like Rollin' in a 9oh down the track on your own ,
I was hoping you would get a bigger bit, look's like you have to get away from the key areas for bigger nugs...
So was I mate, we were definitely here, there and everywhere trying all types of different things but just couldn't make a big one happen unfortunately.

Plenty of people take their dogs mate, if you keep an eye on them it wouldn't be a problem.
Train them to avoid Snakes, and Drop Bears,
so cost wise you are still behind
