- In the journey of adding a nice pair of Ebay Twin Turbos to my small block chevy 400 in my 1969 Chevelle, I put the engine back in the car. Car sounds super cool with the turbos. Is this the best way to make power? Probably not but I want to hear the teriyaki Titty twisters spool up while putting the pedal to the metal. We are going to see if it works out.

Tip from a fellow car guy don't weld on a bench near banners they will catch and your helmet wont see it until you smell it! Weld safe my friend! Car looks great! Keep up the great content
These guys are infinitely underrated
Going to be to build a blow thru carburetor for that thing, you need a boost reference fuel pressure regulator too
Good car you got there👍👌
This channel will be big dont slow down boys
Such a cool car one day I’ll get one 😅 hopefully
I just know you get complaints from your neighbors all the time😂
Fucc em
If i had neighbors that were social and were building crazy shit all the time, id be friends with them 😂 i’d love to see all the stuff they make
@@creamythroatwas jus boutta say tha bro not too many mfs do n got what he got
I kinda wanna get turbos just for the whistle lol not even hook ‘em up for boost
the long videos are cool, but you can see more of their personality ( i guess)
I gotta ask how much is insurance on the chevelle
0:41 😂😂😂
Better take some timing out or that engine will grenade quickly.
Running your engine with the turbos just open like that can very easily overspeed one of them and have it come flying apart.
I had my wastegates connected so that doesn’t happen. Plus I never took it over 2500rpm
@@backspeedboysbut its not making any boost, so the wastegates will never open. Great videos tho. I can't wait to see it finished!
Driving around like that will not hurt the turbos as there is zero back pressure against them meaning zero load. They’ll only spin as fast as the exhaust pushes them the same as if driving except you have zero load on them so no resistance. Look at all the guys that do drag week events my self included run waste gates wide open so turbo just spin only do boost when racing so as to keep strain off the engine and turbos themselves.
@@Moore257 exactly that’s why it’s bad, there is nothing to keep them from over spinning and becoming a grenade. You literally proved the point, without the backpressure that forcing pressurized air into the intake gives you, the turbos will just keep increasing in speed
@@tkc2406 yea….that’s not how it works it’s simple physics bud. And let’s say the turbos defy the laws of physics then how come no one has ever damaged their turbos during drag week events by doing this 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ hmmm that’s weird.
