Dara is part of the 88 that was supposedly get yellow swoosh but there was a sizing problem. Some of them got white swoosh instead of yellow but has the same box for the 88, Dara included. BUT JIYONG PERSONALLY PAINTED DARA'S SHOES WITH YELLOW PAINT AND DOODLED IT. He wrote DARA and I DON'T CAIR. HE ONLY DID THAT TO DARA'S SHOES LET THAT SINK IN.

i think there was confusion from translation or you are still learning korean or don't know the history of those shoes. when someone says "그친구 (that friend)" it's just another way to call someone younger without saying their name. She isn't literally saying we are friends. And the shoes with yellow swishes were specifically made for close friends, so I don't know what else she was supposed to say. She said "친구 (friend)" twice in those contexts so not sure how she is being defensive.
