If Fallon didn't do the world series to help promote the women's game in the pdc and miss 4 of the women's series she would have qualified from the women's series
Also a qualifier dropped out and they chose to give it to the women's series instead on the non qualified tour card holders qualifiers
I wonder if he'd have the same opinion if he was still playing and she took his place in the tournament?

He is not right about Fallon, if they announced the ladies matchplay winner got a position before Beau went on a rampage winning events to pip her in the order of merit fine but they didn't so its not right. They made a position up just for her

@@2pacalypsepastsghost890 Sports do this all the time, rightly or wrongly, it is a wildcard designed to grow the sport. A non issue in my mind. The sports health is bigger than one player losing a place.
I agree with Phil's opinions 100%. Even though there are some that think Sherrock shouldn't have made it into the WC based on her win in the Women's World Matchplay, and seeing how abysmal she did on the Euro Tour (only averaging around 70 for most of the tourneys), she is still too good for the PDC to ignore. She quite honestly deserves a spot at Ally Pally this year.

She get a wild card because she is the first Women that win a Match in WC against a men. If she wouldn't play dart next year she Would be in the World Championship. Its sad to See that. I mean she have every oportunity to Qualify but she doesnt. And thats why no one like her in the last year and this year and of course in the next 100 years.

Fallon is good for the game if she's consistently good at the game. But every showing that she's been in, within the last few events, have been considerably awful. Anyone like that, isn't worthy of just being handed things. It'd be a different story if she was as dominant, but she's only seemingly dominant in like one league and it ain't the one she's been ponied around in.
She's not even dominant among the women ; Greaves is already better at 18 ; the whole things a joke.

I agree too. She is one of the pioneers of Women’s darts, modern era. The 3 at Ally Pally are all capable of winning their games. This Tournament is about the best of the best. No wild cards, & she did win the 1st PDC Women’s Major.
she is being catered to because she is female not because she is a brilliant darts player.
I can see her getting grief from the crowd this time round , she's playing on Thursday and very probably will not make the next round

Fallon earned her place by winning the Women’s World Matchplay. Even Phil Taylor said it, also he’s the greatest darts player of all time so if he says Fallon is good for the game than that’s pretty much settled. Everyone is talking about Fallon. She is the biggest draw and advertisement for darts worldwide. Everytime she plays, she’s the main event. She earns more money for all the players, she brings more sponsors and she brings more eyes on the game with a whole new audience. Not only that but she’s proven that she can hang with the best. It’s only a matter of time before she wins either a main ranking or non ranking title.

in the wc there are 32 international qualifiers who are invited by the pdc so they could technically choose whoever they want. The pdc announced the criteria by which 31 spots were allocated but left one spot to be determined.
Later the pdc decided to give that spot to a third woman and as the third place in the women's series and the winner of the matchplay no one deserved the third spot more than Fallon.
The pdc have messed up here u cant change the rules to when and what u want thats why we have qualifyers and she didnt and now they have done themselfes over because now they have to play 3 women every year now

Time to accept that It was an unallocated spot and given to the winner of the Women’s World Matchplay event. The women's qualifying game gets the benefit, now and in the future. No darts player has lost their spot. Sherrock, who has done wonders for the interest in darts, is rewarded for her efforts. Favouritism? Who cares.

They are bending the rules for Fallon. It doesn’t matter if she’s good for the Women’s game or whatever, she did not qualify! They are doing this because she’s female and it’s wrong. Imagine if they did this in snooker? Oh, well she won the Women’s, so we’ll give her a free pass into the World Championship snooker. No, no, no!
