Do load balancers go before the web servers to distribute network traffic accordingly?
Can we have load balancers before application servers too? Or is it mainly before web servers?

What if you are in a development phase of a website using express. In order for us to see the UI of the website we are developing, we are going to run something, and if we look into the url of like google for example, we see “localhost:3000” or somthing. What is that server? What do we call that? Is it a webserver of someone? Or is it local to our machine?

we can say web server is subset off Application Server, bcoz it wont posses all features of app server
For ex, Web server cant be used for Enterprise Applications,
The main purpose of Web server is to serve web requests, while App server does lot more than jst serving the request.
