We all lead these parallel lives where outwardly you might laugh, seem happy, strong and stable, like you have it all together and have life all figured out, but deep inside there’s another side of you, the side that’s full of self-doubt, weakness, and even hopelessness and cynicism - that dichotomy that I have experienced myself is where I got the inspiration to write this song. In the end, regardless of what you feel inside, there’s always hope. You should never give up. You keep fighting, you keep struggling, and you keep going. Throughout this struggle, the one constant thing I know I can depend on is that Allah is always there with me, and that’s what gives me hope, and gives me the strength to keep on fighting this hidden war that’s inside.
No One But You is a very personal song and music video to me. Writing the song, producing it, and even writing the concept for the music video was a labour of love and self-expression.. I feel so blessed to have been able to work with @awakeningrecords and @kemalbasbug to produce this truly beautiful music video, and its style is completely different from anything I've done before. I'm very excited to see the concept that I had in my head come to life on the screen.
