I love this game but I hate how limited the items are and how few full armor sets there are to make a coherent looking character. The characters usually look good with some effort, but it's still very limited. I hope when they make Soul Calibur 6, they give us more options.
And either make some pieces undestructable or give us a toggle for armour break. I would rather not have my CASes clothing basically never seen due to losing one round.
SC4 had more stuff and a better way to aquire them,but this has the patterns and stickers stuff to allow more creativity,so a mix of both would be perfect !

SC5 has more options for voices, coloring, facepaints and the stickers and tattoo's offer lots of new ways to create more accurate characters. The option to add items is a nice addition, even tho they should've added more and better items. Overall I feel like creation in SC5 is better than 4, but some things are missing while others could've been better. 4 had more fighting styles tho.
@xXFoskoRoskoXx Yes but there are still many flaws. We should be able to make our own faces, hairstyles (but still have default ones), clothes, and weapon shape and style. That would make a perfect character creation system.
It pretty much like this huge book like thing along with the game which comes with the dlc for Whote knight and dark knight costumes and an artbook with the soudtrack cd for this game and a few tracks from previous games. I have one so thats why I know :3

I want old Kilik back and Talmin, plus I think they should make a DLC with story mode and make a story for each char because the story in the game was kinda bogus and the relationship with the sister and brother was creepy lol
I spent hours leveling up - I'm maxed out even - but I was not given the golden armor set or the dark armor set that is listed after all of the rest of the items. How do you get those two sets?

No storymodes, tons of characters missing (and with them a lot of fighting styles are now not available) and no battle-tower with special requirements. Andy Neon: 5 is more for creating a cool looking character while 4 is based around making their stats and abilities like have someone a character drain health with each hit. But if you just want to make something cool in sc4 then you can play standard matches where there are no buffs or debuffs

I find it weird how Ezio and Algol's souls cannot be used yet Edge Master and Kilik's can and they mimic other character's movesets

There is armor in VI, but very little of it. ( I already redeemed my Season Pass for the later content )

I actually didn't mind the less options in Soulcalibur VI. It was still good either way. But this character creation..

how do you get the basic, ethnic, modern, etc patterns? All I have are scars, kanji and random tattoo-ish things
