Telomeres is one of my fav song period
2:31 it’s an old jazz/progressive technique. Idk the theoretical name for it, but we called it jumping across the tempo. It starts on 1 and 2, then to 4 and 1, then 3 and 4, then 2 and 3, then 1,2,3,4 bringing it back full circle. It’s tricky to explain but once you can count it you realize how genius it is.
Calcutta is in my top 5 ST songs! Cant wait till you get to Telomeres. Another one of my favorites ♥️
