I like it! Saw these guys in Tulsa about 1975 just before this album was made. It was the best sounding concert I ever heard. I think Dave Byron was sick the day this song was originaly recorded so, Wetton took the lead and Hensley the chorus. Thanks for the memories!!!
Hey, i was there too, in London, 2001 as part of the Magician's Birthday Party. I remember we had to go to a different venue for this one, with bouncers taking their job too seriously and snatching away camera's.. Good someone could film it. I do recall seeing the videocamera on the tripod. So you were the taper:) Ken had a cold that weekend, hence his voice not being able to hit the high tones. There were a couple of Wetton classics played there too.
I remember times, when John was Uriah Heep-member. After Gary Thain he was another great bass-player in UH-band and also very good singer. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOHN, TODAY !!! (born on July 12 1949)
One of the best songs from the high and mighty album from uriah heep. wetton sings at his best. no comparison with mr. david byron please. just listen "confession" from the same album, byron sings like an angel. im said.
Please, post more Hensley/Wetton vids. Especially, Out of My Control - from this concert, too. It's an awesome piece and i want my friends to see that, too! Thanx

Well I'll be...!! I never knew Wetton sang lead on this: I thought it was just a side of Byron he'd never shown B4! It makes sense though, especially after watching this vid. The audio seems slightly out of sync, but this is still excellent stuff!
D.Byron was on the way out, band said J.Wetton was only hired for the one album, high and mighty, lots going on with Ken and management,so the story goes.
Naw, that would've taken a lot of studio work. It's just that the video & audio are out of sync. It happens far too often. It drives ya nuts doesn't it?!

Rest in peace, both of you!
Rest in Peace Mr. John Wetton!
It wouldn't have been Uriah Heep as we know them if it hadn't been Ken Hensley as the composer who wrote all the greatest hits we love

I always liked "High and Mighty" Lp.... Shame that the critics were so rough on 'em! Bastards!
All music gives 2.5 stars to Salisbury, irrelevance in Music Critic

But he played on Return to Fantasy too...
@@markrago5024 correct,thanks for info.
This must have been pretty bad live because it sounds like the over dubbed it.

Looks like Hensley is lip synching.
No, the audio & video are out of sync.
