    I just wanted to draw your attention to power flow direction signage issue, one of the MV lines is shown (+MW) power going into the MV bus, while the remaining lines are -MW!!! I believe it's a PSSE issue as the power flow direction signage at the MV dots from the transformers side are consistent.

    Perfect work and very well explained. We hope we get a video for wind power and the Dynamic Simulation part

      Steady state load flow analysis of Wind power has the same modelling, however, there is change during dynamic simulation.

    It would be great if you also narrate things we are doing and whats happening with that. Also why we are doing that?
    Thank you!!

    Hi. Since solar plant doesn't produce any reactive power. So can it be possible to know how much VAR compensation is required for a particular solar plant connected to a grid substation. If VAR compensators are not provided then all the reactive power will be supplied by the grid and the pf reduces. Can we model the solar system as a pure DC generation and calculate the VAR compensation required for the same?

      do we really need to build 4 bus lv mv
      or we can just build only one

      @@nayeimfazumy7057 That depends on your module size and overall plant size. In our example, plant size was 11.2 MW and PV module was 2.8 MW. So number of LV buses = 11.2/2.8 = 4

    Hi. Very informative video. I have a question. Do you need to put the generator in Wind data control mode based on WPF if you have already marked Qmax and Qmin to respond to pf=+-0,95? Thx

    • @PowerSystemSimulation
      @PowerSystemSimulation Před 3 lety +1

      PSSE will calculate Qmax and Qmin based on WPF. If you have already added these values, then PSSE will overwrite these values.

    Hi, like to ask if it is okay that Qgen of PV plant is very sensitive which it reaches Qmin and Qmax easily when adjusting Vsched? This is especially when the plant is set to control a remote bus. Moreover, It affects the load flow results, for certain contingencies, the load flow will reach iteration limits (limit is 200). Or is it anything could be possibly wrong with the model? Appreciate your reply. Thanks

      Try to use reactive power source along with PV like fixed capacitor, switched shunt or SVC.

    What does it meant suffix R(near Generator) when u run load flow i observed sometimes it changes to L also what does it actually mean ?

    • @PowerSystemSimulation
      @PowerSystemSimulation Před 4 lety +2

      This is for reactive power limits. "R" means generator is in regulation mode, "H" means generator is touching upper limits and "L" means generator is absorbing reactive power.
