tone test on a very high action guitar

this is a epiphone les paul special vintage edition
with d'addario xl 9 guage strings
and the amp is some random 15w amp from the street and im using amplitude 5 for effects
and the action is painfully high

I don’t think action has an effect on the tone if all other parts like pickup height and intonation are set up properly and in accordance to the action.
Even if a guitar is set up properly, the tone comes from the fingers

My fingers are pretty weak and the les paul is starting to give me wrist problems so i stopped using it and went back to using my semi hollow body

The les paul is set up but the action couldnt go any lower so its basically as high as a factory guitar with abnormal action
