- This is the 3rd part of my long haul flight from Riyadh to Queenstown. This trip report covers China Airlines A350-900 from Taipei to Auckland via Brisbane on a 14hr flight. A350 is quite a comfortable aircraft to fly with even in economy for its spacious legroom and larger windows, including its fantastic mood lighting. I’m curious about their Premium Economy Product. Seems really comfortable! Also, love the PAL cameo at 5:53-5:59 haha! Didn’t know they still fly their A340 down there - I thought their A321NEOs already took over.
Coddiwompling Miguel unfortunately they stil fly A340 to SYD MEL AKL & even LAX if A330triclass isnt available. Last year i went to SYD with Pal A340 u can check my review here. By the way, Pal’s A350 premium economy seating is 2-4-2 unlike ChinaAirlines 2-3-2.
PE Mont yeah I recently flew on an A340 from SFO to MNL with PAL. Will upload the review soon haha! I guess that’s why I’m curious about China Airlines Premium Economy product. It seems quite comfortable.

It’s easy, check if your nationality can transit Australia without visa. Try to use google or call the Australian embassy of your country to verify.
Do you need to go through the customs again or something like that ?
no, it's a simple security check where your hand luggages will be scanned and passengers sometimes will randomly be selected to pass through body scanner, after that you'll go straight to departure area to catch the same plane. u won't pass any immigration check.

I thought from Australian East-coast cities to NZ is over 3 hrs and not 2 hrs.
A340 replace change to A321neo PAL 212
