Awesome find on the meat!! I saw chicken at an Aldi's dumpsters once, but that was around the time of the food poisoning scare, so I left it. I have gotten canned food and drinks and snacks from dumpster but not fresh veggies or anything. So glad you're able to save food.

if you learn how to can you can make jams and canned fruit, and veggies. veggies really only need a quick dip in boiling water to blanch them and then can them. you can find jars at the thrift store. I made freezer jam all the time. blackberry, strawberry and raspberries. soooo yummy.your haul is soooooo yummy looking.

Check the chicken for recalls. It's sort of unusual for them to toss 2 cases of frozen chicken away. I love asparagus. I love it on the grill. Take foil and put the asparagus with salt, pepper and butter close up foil real good so that butter wont run out. It is sooo good like that. You can cook it in the oven the same way. You can also put an onion in it as well.

Carry an old blanket to use to cover the edge of the dumpster.. you could of got the couch and used a good glue to seal the cuts and then get a couch cover.

Cut a pool noodle into a strip as wide as your waist and then cut a slice down its side, chuck it onto side of dumpter, instant belly protector for leaning into the dumpter 😉
And slice the noodlle in half put over edge of dumpster. Making much comfortable and cooler

Went diving tonight at a grocery store and came away with different cuts of beef, pork, and roaster chicken. Filled up my stand up freezer again with meats. Lol though I may need to research how to cook pig tails.

If your ever in a pinch take a trash bag and put it in a box put your cold stuff in that the put some pieces of cardboard on top and close it up it will last a while inside the vehicle.
