Why was the panel to the left of the door loose? I thought you'd be nailing it. Was surprised that you sparayed expansion foam into the gap, it was a great idea. What was your thinking behind doing that?
such a good video for a very common issue; i’m actually not clear in my own mind what the methodology is for using caulk vs. lets say pollyfila. Do you have a framework in your mind to say for example its a solid wall, therefore the best solution is foam then caulk? or if for example its a plasterboard wall then the best solution is foam and filler? knowing this would be really useful. cheers!
What are your thoughts on nemesis caulk now after using it long term? I think it's really useful where shrinkage would be a problem but it hasn't replaced normal caulk for me. It's more like a filler that you can use in a bead.
You really need to get a pro foam gun, you can adjust the flow, they have different nibs for access to various joints. Youll have wished you got one years ago....
What a good idea to use the expanding foam for. Saves removing the plasterboard and re-enforcing.
Thank you!
Thanks your welcome.

Hello from Sweden.
Hi..

It's okay but OB1 is better.. we try and only use sealant if we really have to. Foam and powder filler.. thanks
How does it differ from normal decorators caulk?
Nooice!

Keep meaning to...
And what about the 2 commons mistakes made using caulk?
One is people use silicone instead of caulk. And two no good using caulk if loads of movement. Caulk will crack once fully dry and movement.
I like to guess at what timestamp in the video the foam is coming 😂 Cracking job again, excuse the pun.
Thank you..
Caulk looks decent.
Yes not bad stuff.... only if needs must... can be filled using powder filler as well..
@@PaintingandDecorating yes I now use filler after watching you and one of the best tips you have given👍
@@raysmith6891 thank you.
