- Finding vegan (or vegetarian) foods in Korea hasn't always been easy for the casual traveler. South Korea is the home of grilled pork, fried chicken, and raw fish. It's also the land of amazing convenience stores which can be found on just about every street corner.
In this vlog, I check out different vegan friendly items that were purchased in Korean convenience stores in 2021. From instant noodles to ddeokbokki to snacks and chips, we review and rate our favorite vegan-friendly foods.
All of these are affordable and easy to find at GS25 and other convenience stores around the country. From vegan ice cream to vegan yogurt, we've got it all!
Vegan travelers to Korea no longer need to fear as there are plenty of new options to check out!

All those bag snacks look so good, wish i had them in my country to try
That was so Goos Noodles, must try this, looks good and yummy 😊🤤
It was! It's weird because it makes your mouth numb though. But really good!
Thanks for checking it out!
yay good to know what are the vegan snacks here in korea, havent read any labels, so now i can say i ate some guiltfree^^
Yeah! I'm not vegan myself, but it's nice to eat something that is a bit more socially responsible, while still being yummy :D
I want to try that cup noodles!
Yeah! I quite enjoyed it!
I tried that 떡볶이.actually it's pretty good.
Yeah! It's really quite good. Much better than I expected.
Where did you get all of these? I'm in Seoul looking for the Ramen, seems delicious
I remember I got it at GS25- but that was over a year ago. Not sure if they're still on the market or not.
Oh my topokki is life 🥰 but ramyon is not my type though.. i prefer those korean junkfoods.. ahaha.
The churros looks good...
They are! Actually there's a chocolate churros snack craze these days - and I love it! I'll have to show you some of them sometime.
@@TastesSEOULGood okay 👌
Did you enjoy the yoghurt the most? You looked really into it...
It was really good! I'd probably say that the yogurt and the ddeokbokki were my faves! One was sweet, while the other was savory. Both were delicious!
DUDE I REQUES YOU GO TO SHANG HAI PLSS
Would love to! Once we can travel safely, I'll be there! Do you live there?
@@TastesSEOULGood stay safe
Can you do a vegeterian ramen haul from a 7/11 or CU?
Are these all actually vegan? a lot of cup noodles use animal products in their flavorings.
Yep! I'm sure most of use some type of animal products, but all of these products state they are vegan, or I found them through research. You can see the info here: blog.naver.com/leesol97/222174948201 and on the back of the packaging it says it contains no animal products.
