Beautiful ; I don't know if you've ever played real-time strategy computer games from the 90's like Age of Empires , but this reminds me of the soundtracks of those games. I really like it
Yes, lots of his tracks have reminded me of Age before 111111
I was gonna say the same lmao
Or Sid Meier's Civilization.
@@hyperteleXii Definetly
Yep I spend a lot of time on Age of Empires 2, it may have left scars
These "I compose a track" videos are my favorite. You are so talented!!!
Thanks a lot, I love doing this!
It is truly a miracle that you don’t have more subscribers. I could not think of a more entertaining channel regarding music!
It is growing fast, and I will work on it more and more!
My favourite videos from you are where you make music or build instruments
I really love this type of videos but I have maybe an idea for the video: When you show the final result you could maybe do like a mosaic design and like this we can see what instruments are playing and it would be very cool.
But I really love these videos, Keep it up!!! :)
Jacob Collier style!
Thanks! I could, but it is so much more work!
@@NicolasBras I understand
Grand merci !
Aren't you in Guinness already? Unique skill!
I don't think so, maybe one day!
Beautiful!!
If they ever made a Kenshi movie or TV series, or some other post-apocalyptic story and setting, you 100% need to be the primary composer.
Un sonido increíble!
epic! one of my favorites so far!
Thanks!
sounds like NPR bump music. I like it
Awesome! Thank you! Go on!
Fabulous job Nic, you really inspire me to try harder. Thank you.
Thanks!
So many instruments ! I look forward to seeing what is next.
So much more coming!
Must be a very good video because your have a ton of positive comments. Thanks for another great video.
So beautiful and inspiring
Thanks!
Thank you for this beautiful song today!
Thanks!
Glorious 😎🎙🎶✅
Inspirational as always!
Thanks!
You make this look so easy. You are truly amazing.
Thanks a lot!
Grand merci!
here's another tin can instrument - tie a piece of waxed dental floss to your toe and to a hole in the bottom of the can. use one hand to hold it taut and mute the can. use the other hand to bow the dental floss, possibly with water for friction - this is interesting because with your hand you can change the width of the bowing region, and hear how this changes the formant ;)
Amazing music director
I love this! ❤️😃🎶
The Flute is very beautifull!
Your music make me happy and your enthusiasm is contagious. Thank you for inspiring us 🙂 May your heart keep singing!
Thanks a lot!
It's like a hammer dulcimer! which is my favorite instrument.
Nicolas, well done...
I like it!!!
Man you are an actual music genius!
Thanks!
I am so happy to have recently found your channel and binge watched your content. Such a unique channel and so creative
Thanks a lot!
Awesome track! Also, a good demonstration of finding inspiration by just going for it!
Thanks!
Beautiful! I love your music Nicolas! :o) xx
Great 👌👌👌!!!
phantastic
Grand merci!
i like , tu est si inventif !
WoooW, amazing 👍👍👍👍
Thank you! Cheers!
I loved all those instruments which you made by YOURSELF. This is amazing!! And specially i liked that BASE LYRE. And i loved the composed track also😍😍😍
LOVED IT❤❤❤👍
Thanks a lot!
It reminded me of the game _Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker_ and now I know: it’s the track ‘Mine Cart Sunset Rundown’. It’s striking! I wouldn’t have recognised it if your composition wasn’t in the key of G (minor).
Holy sht. This is amazing
C'est beau !.
Grand merci!
Amazing and ableton for ever!!😊😊😂
Nicolas Bras: oh heyy, heres a video with tin can cymbalum!
Me: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!!
Deep in the heart of the amazon forest, strange music is made...
You can be an amazing music composer for Hollywood movies!
If they call, I will!
sweet
You have a nice Can-cimer.
That video edit of the final piece was fantastic. Really enjoyed it more than the shots of the pc edit. Loved the song, really nice one. As if you had no inspiration! I'm left inspired :)
Thanks!!
I love your music! It's so unique and fun to listen to. Have you considered uploading more to Spotify?
I have an album on Spotify, I'll work on this to release my CZcams tracks also
The 'Babatoni' is a one-stringed instrument that is played with an empty bottle and a stick - A new project my friend? Check out Gasper Nali.
My dear friend, did you have a normally child life? I doubt about it! Those different instruments playing, you need a life time! And if we think that you're built Those instruments!? Than you need even your grandpa life! I can say to you only a big RESPECT 🙏...
I start music as a child, but with no hard work at all, I start to work a lot around 20 years old, a lot of work indeed, but a normal life!
@@NicolasBras I'm really glad to hear that! Keep going, every single hard work, will be payed ad his cost...
Ta non-inspiration m'en a donné ! Merci pour ça :)
Merci!
This reminds me of the Firefly episode "Our Mrs. Reynolds" when Mal is at the village and first meets Saffron.
great brooo
check out how they play in brasil the triangle in "forró" style
Whaaaaaat??
Hey, could u put the plans for the cymbalum available on Patreon pleeease? Finally have some money and will start building a shit ton of instruments! Love from Portugal!
Nicolas what instrument do you play?
Nicolas: Yes.
That's a hard question
👍
Your songs aways remind me of Age of Empires II for some reason
T'es français ????!!!! J'adore tes videos !! Tellement inspirant !!! B)
Je je suis! Un grand merci!
👍👍👍
La Réunion lé la 🇷🇪
ok...yo Tin can cymbalum is where it's at! Is there a video on how you made it?
Salut Nicolas! You were saying in one comment at one point that there is a link to purchase your ebook on how to build some of your instruments (I am interested in the DIY clarinet/duduk). Do you still have the link? I can't seem to find it. Thanks a bunch!
It's available on my Patreon page!

Truly inspired! I have tinkered around with music production with a daw, plug ins and samples whilst only using a midi keyboard. What your doing looks alot more fun. I started working recently at a special needs school catering mostly for autistic children and love it! I will start making simple percussion instruments with mostly scrap material and will introduce to my students, it would be a perfect activity to engage with. However I'd like to try some more advanced creations for my music. What tier would be best for me on patreon? Keep it up :)
👏👏👏🤘😘
Are you make electronic flute
Great composition. However, putting water in a glass increases the note, it doesn't lower it.
Try at home, you will be surprised!
@@NicolasBras Damn, you're right, I was pretty sure of myself and too lazy to check. I should've guessed that you wouldn't just say nonsense. Sorry for that. I wonder why it does that. I originally thought it would increase the pitch since sound goes faster in water than in air, and so for a same wavelenght you would get a higher frequency.
@@lucasbrelivet5238 no problem! I don't know the exact physics, but I tuned a lot of them!
This reminds me the music of the Forest Temple in Ocarina of Time.
I often got a video game vibe!
When’s the album dropping? 🤍
Already dropped one on my Bandcamp and all platforms, named Homemade!
Hammer tuning made me laugh out loud :)
You're right, there's a lot of texture in this. You kept yourself from pushing it too far though, and the end effect is really neat. The bass flute (?) was a tad too loud for my taste, draught a bit too much attention. Mileage may vary depending on speakers probably, DIY instruments are more vulnerable to that, aren't they?
Where could I check your touring plans? I can't find them, but I would really like to
This is really the method to tune a tabla, this hammer is a tabla hammer!
Just like soundtrack to Civilization III .
Second comment boiiiii!!
Junkyard folk music?
remake the mandolorian theme music
The cymbalum part reminded me of the backing to this song from this one cd my mom always plays around Christmas time: czcams.com/video/_JPqO6TsPEs/video.html
Great stuff as always, such cool music and layering
Thanks!
bro got a high pass filter on he cans💀
No inspiration at all 🤣
It ends well!
