Traffic here is bad because so many people speed and drive recklessly. Too many people looking at their phones causing accidents as well. So many entitled Aholes in Austin and it shows on the road.
I’m so happy you talked about property taxes. I’ve lived here for 24 years and that has been my biggest beef with Texas. You will pay property taxes until you die in Texas. It’s ridiculous and way too much. I’d rather have a state income tax so I could actually own my home one day. In Texas you will never own your home. The state owns it. It’s bull and it makes me angry that people don’t get as pissed as I do about it.

I lived here for 4 years and I am moving in a couple months. Everything you are speaking is the truth, I seen have seen austin change within the last several years.
Round Rock is doing a lot of work to connect the city through their trail system too.

San Diego median sold price $895,000. On Zillow there are no single family houses for sale $560,000 or below in the city limits.

What about crime? On Fox News took Austin Police Department two and a half hours to show up to a drunk driver accident. Austin is 500 Police Officers short and it is up to the citizens to protect themselves!

People, don't listen to this guy, he's just another youtube troll looking for traffic to his channel. Every city has it's problems. Homelessness, cost of living and property taxes are just part of the equation. He makes it sound like someone dropped a bomb on the city. The city deals with all of these things in a productive way. The only thing that's ugly here is his exaggeration of the truth. Realtors like this guy are bullshit anyway

You're exaggerating in order to gain traffic to your site and make money. That's lying, no matter how much you minimize it. If you love Austin as you claim, stop dumping on it.
