All imma say is, I wouldnât want to be the photographer đ
I mean some are definitely edited, but the fact remains that a person is behind these photos.
I think the pictures were edited to look a bit more scary
Them: time to give people some entertainment *after a big fight of who should take it* one of the photographers: literally noclips into the backrooms to take a picture of the end and has made a huge mistake
Some are computer generated
Some were edited
Not all of it was real
0:34 the fact that the image is blurry makes you think the one that took the photo was being chased and he/she took the photo in a hurry while being scared and or terrified
Crazy because I think thatâs more of a subconscious thought that most people canât put into words, spot onđđŻ
No to me it doesnât feel like they are being chased it just feels like the blurriness makes it more uneasy as if you weâre being watched

The dim, empty hallways are the scariest to me.
Big, open lobbies, or even outside at night, you have a better chance at spotting anything nearby, and in a worst case scenario, you have many options to flee towards.
In a hallway, visibility and mobility are both restricted. You only have one, two options max should you need to flee, and you never know if someone or something is around the corner just up ahead, or right behind you...

I entirely agree with you, apart from certain large spaces
I honestly canât accurately describe them, but I think itâs more the darker ones with more hiding spots
And idk if this was even in the video, but any sort of hospital-like area absolutely frightens me to the point where, even if itâs in video, my fight or flight response becomes active

I have Scopophobia, like, if I'm alone and I feel watched I try to go faster or just start booking it in an instant kind of shit- this is shockingly both relaxing and thrilling-
I didnât even assume that you meant walking or running, so now im just imagining you with scopophobia, sitting down, watching this video, and then the first thing that actually spooks you (probably the first second of this video i dunno), and then getting up, almost like a fight or flight reaction, and just running from your phone as fast as possible.
What is scopophobia?
That also happens to me, doesn't even need to be dark places, big and open places (even in the day) trigger my fight-or-flight system and then I walk with more pace or I try to find the nearest exit

I have a feeling like the trick of these images is to make you think that there is something watching you in them. You are constantly searching for what it might be, as you get more and more uncomfortable.
Yet I always look out my window 2 c if some1 there or whenever Im outside I'd look around DDX

Nah, this shit scares the fuck outta me. I hate looking into a dark doorway, or a lit hallway, but there is a doorway that's being blocked by the huge ring of light pollution that's hiding a vague human shape just beyond the doorway.
Seeing creepy ass faces in barely observable spaces makes me INSTANTLY wanna just nope myself out of the area, but I cant turn and run because what if the weird face man comes jerkily flailing at me, tryin to eat me? XD

The Resident Evil 4 Serenity song really is a safe haven theme cause when I heard it in the end it not only brought nostalgia of me playing it back in the day but also cause the song itself really gives that feeling no matter where you are or what cursed back room place you are in.

My scopophobia is a lot like an extreme stage fright, to the point that one on one conversations with people I've never met, will require my constant avoidance of eye contact. That is my biggest trigger, is EYES. Suddenly finding someone or something is staring at me is unbelievably horrifying.
So when you show dark, empty places, I actually feel somewhat comfortable, because those are actually the places I look to go to to feel safe or in control of an episode. It's better if I see you, and you don't see me, as creepy as that sounds lol
Loneliness is treasured, shadows and nightfall are safe places.

I've been walking through the hallways of my college recently and it is almost always empty because of Covid restrictions and all (I'm currently taking an online course in film making, but I had to go to school every once in a month for some classes), and all I can think of are these liminal space videos.

What dose it for me is a room where theres spots that are just black in front of me. If there is someone or something watching i have no way of knowing. Same for black windows. For awhile as a kid my gaming area was in the sun room with many windows. And my setup had me facing the windows. If theres someone watching i can't tell. But i don't wanna look at them.
The fear of looking more directly or squinting your eyes. And just barely making out another pare of eyes looking back. I didn't wanna leave any part of me vornable. I sat crisscross wrapped in a blanket on my recliner as i played on my 360

I have the fear of messing up in front of many people that are watching me, but not necessarily the fear of being watched. I think that if I had the fear of being watched, I would be fearful when someone is looking at me, whether I'm aware or not, not matter the reason. If I were to fold a paper airplane and someone wanted to watch me, and I was aware of it, I should be afraid, but I'm not.
I think people have the fear of being watched when they don't want to be watched, and when they do want to be watched, they shouldn't be fearful.
