Emgrand's may be good aesthetically, but MG5 takes the cake in engine power, infotainment features(android auto/apple carplay/360° cam) and trunk space(for a bit).👌 Also, it's not visible, but there are rear ac vents too under the driver seat.
I wonder what would be their vote at the end of the video if they did the shoot after Geely's price increase on Emgrand. Also, these cars are on the price mark of more established brands, so I hope they would do a comparo of MG5 Core MT and Emgrand S 1.5 MT(newest and lowest variant) in under 700k pricepoint.

ang isa lang sa kulang sa emgrand for beginners, pag madilim na, yung shifter modes walang back light. ouch din ang fuel consumption. mas matipid pa ata or same lang sila ng coolray na may turbo pa.

both of these cars are of the last generation. the Ph market is a very low volume but bringing the latest generation will definitely spur higher sales even at slightly higher starting prices
Nakalimutan banggitin na ang pinupush gamitin ng Geely instead of Android Auto/Apple Carplay is yung Easy Connection App. Once improved tong Easy Connection, it would work better than both Android Auto and Apple Carplay.
i think there going to phase out the western software and technologies little by little. Even they request to put apple car play.
Does Emgrand have auto tilt side mirrors when backing up?

ito lang pangit sa Philkotse, they always release videos kahit may problema sa audio, very distracting imbis na mag enjoy ka sa review nakakawalang gana tuloy panoorin. Better hire a good camera man with better equipment for the job

@@thetrustysidekick3013 Maybe. That's one thing that is lacking in geely's line up. Other chinese car brand happens to have if not both, atleast an apple car play or android auto.

Both Chinese built but MG still carry brit quality.
Geely has the Volvo tech, all materials, engine etc came from Europe. BUilt like Volvo cars even its assembled in China. Premium feeling.

The minor audio issues didn't take away from my enjoyment while watching.
Also good choice, the Emgrand blows the MG5 out of the water.
But the MG5 has a more powerful engine and has 360 camera for TOTL.

no, not really. if there's one thing the emgrand has over the mg5, it's the rear aircon vents. Growing up, I never even really noticed the absences of aircon vents at the rear, but I've always needed navigation, so for me by far, the mg5 leaves the emgrand in the dust. different folks, different priorities, i guess :)

I've got both cars mine is MG 5 and Toyota vios GR Sports both masarap e drive but quality and reliability Honda and Toyota is the best choice piru kung nka drive kna ng civic tapus Camry and Lexus ng Honda tapus Toyota I say panis tlga geely interms of comfort and features cabin is absolutely silent but in pricing mas friendly geely

For RHD like Thailand, Proton will enter the market not Geely. Need to wait this model launch in Malaysia first as Proton S50 before going to Thailand or Indonesia
MG core 5 MT owner here..disappointed ako sa accelarator ni MG 5 or should i say lahat ng MG cars ata..meron kc delay sa accelaration nya, kpag sinipa mo accelarator meron delay for about 3 to 5 seconds bago umabante..yun lang ang downfall ni MG kya naungusan cya ni Geely..mas nauna c MG naglaunch sa pinas pero mas sikat pa ngayon c Geely..sa power lang nakalamang c MG dhl matulin c MG 5 yun nga lang rin mababa ground clearance nya..puro gasgas inabot ilalim ng MG 5 ko dhl sa mga lubak2x at humps na daan.

@@jasonoga05 naset ko na sa MT sa CAN settings sa showroom pa mismo nung release ng unit sinet ko na agad..sa lahat ng MT core 5 ikw lang pla ang wlang delay..ayos yan bale factory defect sayo dhl ikw lang ang wlang delay..haha

8months using Geely Emgrand basic family use. wala pading disappointment kami na encounter. what if mali yung connotation ng iba if China.... tanong if what if malagpasan quality ng Japanese even American cars?
This model launch since 2010 in China n now this one the 4th generation. So far still going strong on china road and win reliability award for 9 years in roll
