One of my favourite maw counters, may not be conventional/practical but gets the job done, is omega sentinel. She's nullify immune and if you use her tracking debuff, you wont need to worry about the falter. Obviously if given the choice, Id rather use torch, but in BGs, if i see omega sentinel, i always draft her incase my opponent drafts a maw.
I just love using negative against him, easy heavy counter on sp1, evade is an easy opening for non contact mediums, and sp1 fury can get a slightly faster ramp.
@@faultless.then I’ll use DDHK lol. And this also makes me think how Falcon would do vs Maw. I just R2 my 7* and he is making more champs useless than expected. I’m still finding things that he shuts down.
@@Phasing. yeah but the sp1 degen is massive. The sig degen much smaller and u really shouldnt be hittn into his falter to begin with haha. Now using him on attack yeah i want that sig as high as possible to get as much extra damage as possible since Maw is kinda noodley so on attack you def want the sig
@@Insidious_Rage SP1 nulify? You aware of the amount of nulify immune/buff immuje champs in game right now? Just bring 1 and you make this ability a noodle. On the other hand in order to not get faltered you gotta keep hitting him with a heavy attack which is quite difficult with his non contact medium and that's where his sig plays

Facts same here, I know how easily my 7 star Titania can crush Maw so I picked Cap Sam instead 😂 and he's got a few kills so far in BGs
Anyway torch get the degen damage so in bg that’s very good

Even stealth spidey and cap iw are really good counters to him and usually use them to counter if I don't have my quicksilver or torch

Human torch has been part my my bg lineup for a while now. Squirdo has nothing that fears me.

Maw has counters for sure but there are many nodes that makes countering him normally tough or impossible with the usual champs.

They all gonna have him unduped which he's 10 times less scary than if he were to be duped
Not really. The miss aint the main issue its the sp1 nullify
