    You only need a magnet on the carrier of fighters. I suggest putting the magnets on the carriers and a bit of a paperclip on the fighters, so that you don’t have to worry about polarity.

    Good work. Why didn't you drill the magnets up from the bottom?

      I did some tests, and the magnets weren’t as strong that way, also I was afraid of drilling all of the way through. I think it is definitely a good other option though, and you can fill in the drill from the bottom with drywall spackle, and prime with primer, then paint.

    couldn't the magnets be added from the bottom of the ship
    should be strong enough field to go thru the plastic to hold the planes
