- Happy Halloween! Today I’m showing you how to make an easy Halloween balloon garland.
And in another installment of my 20/20 challenge, I’m challenging myself to make it even more spooktacular in less than 20 minutes with less than $20 of supplies. So using some spiderwebs & Dollar Store spiders, I try to witch it up a little.

Hi !! Question for you: I would love to use a fishing net (the type you get at party city) to hold my creation. How would you suggest attaching balloons to it? The net will be draped from the ceiling down into a cascade ( if that makes sense) with fishing poles and life preservers, starfish etc. Any idea of how to work it would be greatly appreciated. Oh yea, this is for a wedding engagement (the couple is very outdoor sports, camping people) and the colors are shades of blue and green with some browns and tans. Love this one you did for Halloween.
Oh that sounds amazing Susan! I would think fishing line would make the most sense in that scenario, no? Even fits the theme, haha! If you're going to be doing a garland cascading down, that should be fairly easy to tie into the net using fishing line (you might have to knot it pretty well though to keep it secure)! Hello, is Qualatex brand the only brand you suggest when making this balloon garland or are there other brands that are fine to use?
Hi! Love this 🎃👻 what do you recommend to keep balloons shiny? I have a huge black install for Halloween and I want to keep them shiny! I was hoping for something I don’t have to rub all the balloons down with, but is that my only option?
Hey Morgan!!! Congrats on the job, that sounds like it's going to be gorgeous!!! There are a couple products on the market, HiShine markets itself as not needing to be rubbed in, just needing a few hours to "settle in" more or less, but I'd play with it first on your own to see if it works how you want it to!
