- In the first 4OT game in the NBA Playoffs during the shot clock era (1954-55) and second 4OT game in NBA Playoffs history (Boston vs. Syracuse, March 21, 1953 Game 2 Eastern Division Semifinals), the Trail Blazers defeated the Nuggets 140-137 to take a 2-1 lead in this best-of-7 series. C.J. McCollum led all scorers with an NBA Playoff career-high-tying 41 points (18 points in the 4 overtimes combined), 8 rebounds and 4 steals for the Trail Blazers in the victory. Nikola Jokic recorded 33 points (13-25 FG), 18 rebounds and 14 assists in 65 minutes of play. Jokic is the only player in NBA Playoffs history to record such a stat line and recorded the 4th-most minutes played in a single NBA Playoff game.

Never actually been to a nba game, sad to say. I figured it would probably take forever to get out the parking lot and thru traffic plus they got to stop and get something to eat because I'm sure a hot dog is $30 at the game lol so they got home about 2 r 3
@@BigHandsome519 I've been to a few games in Portland and yes, it did take forever to get home after the game ended. That was because I lived in a suburb called Hillsboro which was about a 23 minute drive west from Portland and it took forever to get out of the Rose Garden's (that's what the Blazers' stadium was called at the time) parking lot.

summed up what I feel..while I enjoy the rivalry of warriors rockets and the talent of gianiss vs kyrie and kawhi vs embidd I gotta admit...this game reminded me why I love the nba...2 teams of equal talent going at it both dont want to lose and playing more tough and less analytical more old school and refs calling it mostly fair letting them play through contact and be emotional and big shots that dont define a legacy and are just great players adding their little spot in the nba playoff books...this game will beat any game played for the rest of the year..this is what we wants a few times a year...a game to remind us how great this sport is to watch...thank you nuggets and blazers...you tried your best..the game was intense and played as hard as one can be....it wasn't about anything but 2 teams who tried their best...sports is too tied down now with other things I miss this..they reminded me of it..thank you....if you didnt know who jokic murray cj dame were..well now you do...

It was a great game, but while there was major effort by both teams, they were also both mediocre. The Blazers played way too much one-on-one hero ball and the Nuggets made costly turn-overs.

I agree but one thing that bothered me is that our offense became so stagnant near the end of the 4th and all the OTs. Our bench was playing well and we should have at least used Collins defensively in the OTs.

Glad he did play great tho, bc others weren't having as good of a game as he was. Hope he does it again so they can get a w in Portland before going home. I mean,...what can I say? This game was incredible. The NFL, NBA, and NHL are just giving us instant classics that will be remembered forever. As for this game, a war of literal attrition had ensued. Both teams played their hearts and souls out for 4 overtimes and I know their tired by know. I don't want this series end to end and the Nuggets & Trailblazers should go to 7 games.

Dame is one of the greatest tough shot makers, not just today, but in history but never let that undermine CJ as a shot creator and this game is the prime example. He is getting to his spots but these are not easy shots at all and heâs constantly making them. Insane performance by him
