Thanks for including the update on the turtle ! So glad that it is doing well ! 😁
Us too!
Thanks for the update. Glad all of the debris is gone, and the poor turtle is ok, and you didn’t get your boots flooded. Got a feeling this is not the last time we’ll see of this site! Be well!! ❤
Unfortunately when I walked upstream, I flooded both boots! That will be in the next video coming out later this week.
Thanks for showing the end of the clearance. Definitely a big improvement,if the viewer hadn’t seen it at the beginning, the probably think it’s a different bridge. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
No problem 👍
It must be satisfying to see all the hard work paying off. It is for me and I'm only watching😄
Wow, that's great. You put a ton of work into clearing that culvert. Thanks again for sharing this. Looking forward to the next adventure.

Amazing, from the very first video to the last video you probably cleared about 8 tons of debris. 💪💪💪
So satisfying to see the fruits of your work. 👍
Hi, that is great on that turtle. glad it survived. We need more turtles in our streams.
Nice to hear the turtle is still kicking about.
Excellent work per usual 💪🏻

More to come!
You did a good job clearing all the logs I never thought they were going to go but they did!!!
Thanks for the update! Looking great! And, yes, really appreciate the update on the turtle. I was afraid he was a goner for sure.
Good follow up, really shows the difference after your hard work on clearing the stream side of the culvert. That's some drop in level too looking at the mud that is now exposed. Good to know that Mr Turtle survived ok. Thanks for all the videos on this culvert, been very interesting watching your progress.
Thanks so much for the update! Since I live on the edge of the Great Plains, a thousand miles from anything resembling a tide, I was courious as to what the tidal flow would look like and what effect it would have
I live not far from the river. The lower half of the river is actually a tidal estuary of the Atlantic Ocean, so it has 2 tides per day , changing the direction of the flow. In some areas, the river is over a mile wide, very impressive.
I enjoy all your videos, excellent work! God bless you.😊
Great update all around. Looking forward to the upstream video!

Good job! Thanks for showing the result of tide activity. I think this stream has maybe become a personal project for you now.
Best Wishes, Brendan.
I think so too!
Thanks for the update. Glad all the debris is gone, and the poor turtle is ok, and you didn’t get your boots filled with water. I have a feeling this is not the end of this site! Be well!! ❤
Good work u done well to clear up that mess
Thanks 👍
Yes, you did it. Nice job. One thing you get your exercise this way😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.
😁
Thank you very much for taking the time to show the incoming tide. It completes the picture and experience. One more question if I may, given that the tides are involved with thriving and falling of the water this means that the sea is mot far off
In this case is the water part salty and should have some sea water fish?
I believe I'm about 150 miles up from where the river exits into the sea, so I'm not sure how much the salinity elevates this far up. I do know that Stripers(Atlantic striped bass) come up the river to this area every year to spawn and some of them are huge! Here is a link with more info: www.dec.ny.gov/lands/4923.html
👍👍👍
❤❤❤ tank
👍👍👏🏻👏🏻
Stupid question, how long does it take for the tide to come in or go out? Our wheat fields in Kansas do t have tides! 😅
In most coastal areas around the world, there are two tidal cycles (meaning 2 low tides and 2 high tides) over the course of what is called a lunar day (24 h and 50 min), creating a gap of approximately 6 hours and 12 minutes between each low tide and high tide.
Do blue claw come into the culvert?
I don't believe so.
How high does high tide water get?
Here the river rises and falls about 5 feet. When I was there it was 1.5 hours before high tide peaked which would have brought the water up about another foot and a half where I was standing.
Probobly saved the city hundreds of dollars from having some incompetant person come out here and do the work or mess stuff up with heavy equipment.
Thanks for the update
You bet
