To me this is a great boat to buy and dock at a vacation destination to use as a summer/vacation house and then take it out on day trips ...
Thanks for the video. I love this boat. Hopefully could buy one soon
The minimalist in me can dig it. I'm hung up on the helm being completely exposed to the elements, however. Turning the nav station 90° to forward facing would do wonders. Also getting rid of the forward cabin and making it a 2 cabin/2 head floorplan would be nice. I think 3 cabins is a bit much for a cat this size. Under 6' headroom, especially the 5'6" in the hulls, makes it a huge compromise for liveaboard status. Maybe a weekender, but not made to circumnavigate.
Thats my biggest complaint, could totally see myself on this boat but I'm 6 feet tall...that is why I am excited for the Aventura 37.
Joel Whiteside I agree the headroom should be 6 to 8 inches higher but 2 cabins and heads maybe a head and a half but I would like 1 nice cabin with more other space. I am not wanting to spend long times sailing with another couple or guy at sea. If another female or 2 sail with for a bit they do not have their own room and bed. A couple places to sleep for one person is not bad.
The navigation station is fine for me. I would have a swivel chair there, and then looking out the front window isn't obstructed by the screens. 95% of the time this boat would be sailed by me and my wife. I need a little workspace more than the third cabin, and why have two heads and showers for that rare occasion you have someone visiting. More that can break, more to maintain. The height, well what do you get for €157.000 plus tax. If you are unhappy, buy one of the €500.000 competitors... I could live with a lot worse for this kind of money ..
So glad the had wireless camera details in the description exactly what u was looking for
Nunya bizness,
They really don't to most, just the few that have nothing better to do. Just sayin'😁.
It certainly has what you need. Very nice
Looks very spacious and livable for being a 33 feet! Wow!
Omg! 😲 Starter Cat! I. LOVE. IT!
Perfect one for Greece or Croatia... navigate around island's and discover bays
I'm digging it!
I love the dreamy, off-kilter music! 🎼🎶 Nice cat, too! I could live on that, no sweat. Wouldn't know what to do with it, but the space... Yep, defo! Great vid, thanks for uploading! 👍😎
Cool mini multihull. Thumbs up!
Wowww amazing love it
Love it!
thats a great price for that size for sure. surprisingly affordable. but the boat also has a cheap look and feel about it. most boats are nicer, but you are also paying a lot more for those features. a great option for some
Could this cat handle Australian conditions? Coastal cruising and around the Whitsundays? And for a beginner sailor like myself? How many crue would i need to sail her? Or could i do it single handed?
Well laid out, attractive.
Like a dream...
Love the one piece trampoline and inner hull facing windows. One day... If I win the lottery...
Great use of a small space.
i love it...
It's amazing how much more space there is for accomodations when there is only one head.
Yes i agree 100%
I think that they should do that kind of a thing on every cat.
1 toilet and shower in every hull.
Would make allot more space for other things.
Thanks for watching!
its a 30ft boat what do you expect? btw theres a 2 cabin layout with 2 heads.
Imagine 6 people trying to pee in the morning with 1 head. When you're buying small cat, maybe you shouldn't try to cramp a boatload(pun intended) of passengers
Impressive. There's a 44 model - I need to go check that out! Thanks!
@@LearningtheLines If they can keep costs down and quality up, I'd be interested. I would love Aventura to shake up the cat industry which to me is so ridiculously overpriced. These are pretty!
The helm could do with a little more protection and the nav desk should be forward facing. Other than that it is extremely impressive
I dig it
I like to see a little more tech for the ropes/sails, one touch buttons would do wonders in sailing alone, sure it's fun to do but after awhile it gets a little to much possibly a navi helper that's connected to the tech so if you wanted to get some shut eye, push a button and the tech takes over, allows you to sleep, cook, relax etc. while keeping you on track maybe some screens in the saloon, rooms, and head to allow you to see what's going on too. and looks like they need a captains chair cover for those raining/storm days to allow shade and protection against anything that's coming your way too. Just a suggestion.
Dankie for a good video. So the cat is 10m and the speed? Thanks for the channel.
correct me if I am wrong but looks a fair weather cat, no internal bridge or place to be sheltered when the weather comes up.
Many catamarans have helm positions that are not sheltered. Most folks use autopilot and keep watch from below for better visibility.
Of course, one could always build a shelter around the helm as done by Owners of many catamaran builders.
Can you imagine being on _this_ catamaran in the middle of the Pacific, with _that_ soundtrack playing at full blast, on repeat, with no way to stop it? Twin-hulled, long-distance, live-aboard torture.
When I am on the water I will hear halyards rattling, leaf blowers while at anchor....all pet paves of mine.
When it starts to bother me I stop and say “Lord, Thank You for the ability to hear as I know not everyone has the ability to hear.”
At least for the moment, the sounds fades into the background.
Beautiful boat!
they are so close to a true pilothouse boat i dont see why they dont build one.do the forwad hatches like a mainecat and rout all the lines into the salon ,that area where the nav station is could house the wheel,a little rearangement to the setee is also called for ,that would make it a good northern weather cruiser
Maybe add a Bimini cover at the helm?
A bimini and a better seat, can't imagine sitting on that for hours at a time especially in rougher conditions.
@@13Xerro yep i realy didnt like where it is kinda in the elements to much for me hard to stay dry
I wish I had the confidence to sail. It looks like a lot of fun. The sun tears me up though
Hey, whats the ending song?
Daggerboards or fixed keels? Bridgedeck clearance?
That price is crazy!
I LOVE THE TRAMPOLINE
A girl can only dream. I could definitely see myself sailing in comfort and taking long sleep on calm Waters in this. This is very nice.
Big enough 👍
Now I can Afford this. 😁😁😁😁
Definitely not bad for the price, but I don't consider a 34 foot cat to be a long term live-aboard. I could maybe see this as a nice weekender boat. Even 40 foot cats feel too cramped for me to consider living on one for extended periods of time. I think 46 feet is really where long-term live aboards start, where you start to feel like you have enough space to not be claustrophobic.
Is this boat rated for off-shore passages (i.e. ocean crossing), or is this just intended as an island hopper.
I'm not a fan of the CE B rating. I'm disinclined to buy a cat that is limited to coastal cruising. If I did want a small coastal cat, I'd probably go for a TPI Lagoon 35ccc, which has a much better cockpit/helm design for piloting in inclement weather. Interesting to see an inexpensive build, though. I'll be interested to see how the quality holds up over time on boats from this yard.
What do you think of the Gemini Legacy 35 Trane? Just curious since a pal is buying one.
@@potcrak1 I'd prefer trampolines up front, but other than that it's a really nice looking little cat. I really like galley-down and the owner's hull makes nice use of space. If you're just a couple out, the different hull layouts means you can find a bed that matches the sea state. Shaft drives, a beam that fits in a regular mono slip ... lots to like in that one.
That's it, that's the one I am saving for. Thanks for sharing!
Jenny Mossa hi Jenny, a great boat. Tried it once, very fast and versatile (17 knots). Is it for far distances? No. The water tanks are minimal and not lots of fuel. But for that price it’s good. I would be willing to recommend you other boats for similar price which could be better depending on the distance you would be planning to do. Thanks. Cheers, Michiel. (Beneteau Oceanis 62 sailor) so my opinion may be different to other boat sailors.
@@romaingrosjean1834 whats a better boat for longer distance cruising but still on the cheap side
Gothicc senpai it really depends. What is your price range? Which continent do you live? With this information I will be happy to check. I’d pick a monohull, again just tell me and I will be happy to give my opinion
It is a good boat for fair weather sailing. But I would get too sunburnt to continue in about 30 minutes down in Florida during the Summer.
Put a Bimini over the the helm and that would be okay and you can also put some kind of covering on around it also but it would also be a good to sail the Florida Keys and possibly over to Bimini Island
159,000 euros.
Vero nice
Funky catamaran, funky music. Cat reminds me my first reaction seeing an affordable MG ZS electric no thrills car.
Nice cat and entry price. If they would make a 38' and/or 45' with the same concept it would definitely take off.
@@kingbradley8058 just saw on their website. Wonder if they will bring it to Cannes this year.
Could you do one of the Adventurer 44 please?
If its on a show, i will.
I think theres great potential with aventura.
Thanks for watching!
What is the last music name?
I had to give this a like and post a comment just for the fact that you don't take kindly to stupidity. I love the replies to some of the dumber comments.
That said, this boat MIGHT be on my radar if it is available in different finishes. Those interior colours are depressing to me. I do like the large windows in the hulls. It helps brighten up the gloomy spaces. The salon looks comfortable and the cockpit is well laid out. I would be interested to see how one sails. Does it have stub keels? Very little information is available on the company website.
nice model for a house on land
nice.
Is there a place big enough on there to stash a small motorcycle or moped maybe while sailing across oceans?
Yeah I think cheap is the best definition for this boat
The quality is really great. Hope to see the 44 in Cannes. ;)
Yes hope so to.
More important is the price.
Same as the lagoon 42 or cheaper would be great.
Im sure they would get allot of sales if they do that.
Thanks for watching!
I got some info from Aventura.
349k for the basic model, very very good.
Lets see what it looks like.
perfect
Dig it 👍🏽
This would be a good first boat.
Spend 1/10 the price on a monohull, learn to sail, determine how much you like sailing and being a boat owner, and then buy something like this.
This is the one I want 😭😭😭 I need to work more hard... to get this thing 😭😭😭
Look up Dave Ramsey’s books/podcast to help plan your debt management/savings. Wether you make 30k a year or 200k
No work smarter with the money you earn, shares are the best way of earning ahead.
Good value for the price. This is not a boat to sail the southern ocean in 30ft seas but it's not meant to be. It's a floating condo in the Bahamas and for that purpose it will be a great competitor to the fence sitting monohull folk looking to switch at a fair price. Only thing I would like to see is solar panels installed and lithium batteries but that may outprice her.
I'm 31, don't come at me with your life experience! I fully intend on pushing my luck until it sinks, which I'm confident it won't. Crew briefed accordingly.
People have crossed oceans with way less. This looks like a great boat at an affordable price.
좋다
Is it still for sale?
Beautiful awesome catty, love it, we have alot of bridges in the gulf, do you know about this Mass size,so wr can get under the bridge's?
Absolutely love the boat .except for them helmet station.long passages would suck.or bad weather.
There's always auto pilot I guess.
can someone send me aguide to prices of livng on the boat. still need good wifi, and near club areas near places like miami bahamas playa del carmen cabo argentina buenas aries. its impoosssible pls halp!
For 250 it’s a steal thanks
That is something I could buy. Wonder if there are dealers here in Florida?
What about the Gemini?
I was going to vomit when I read 159,000 Euros but to be fair in the grand scheme of what new Cat's sell for it's actully very competitive.
159k Euro = $255k AUD. Ok for a coastal cruiser. Would like to check it out on board.
Quick question.... How many people got decapitated by the boom while sitting in the upper helm seat? Asking for a friend.
Other than the unintentional guillotine built in to the boat....it's pretty awesome.
Every racing monohull had a boom that could “dent ya”!
Higher the boom, the higher the Center of Effort.
Was on a long-distance sailboat race where the Owner had a heart attack.
Then, one of the crew was knocked unconscious by the boom.
Owner died, crew couldn’t be airlifted due to the weather.
Bad night and then next day for both!
Not impressed with the height of the rear swim platforms versus the height of the main deck, I feel that it's too low and can allow the boat to get swamped
the hord in me wants to live minimally lol this would be a good start or end?
I wonder if it is possible tyo convert this one to be fully electrical,,,, It might have more power and endless sailing with no trouble
I'm pretty sure you will find you have a lot more trouble with electrical motors and a single generator to feed it vs. 2 separate diesel engines.
@@beunhaas102 but I think you would have a kind of unlimited distances to cover unlike diesel where you need to stop for refuel
@@omega2469 How do you figure? This is a tiny boat, you will be out of fresh water, black water storage, fresh clothes, cold storage food and so on long before you ever need to top up your diesel tank, you would be a pretty crappy sailor if you didn't.
And the only thing that is unlimited with a full electric boat is the misery. The reality is that it is a huge challenge in itself just to generate enough power for the onboard systems so you don't need a gen set (which just about now is getting more feasible). To also power the engines electrically you would need to produce even more power.
If you want (near) unlimited cruising Diesel engine(s) is what you are looking for, a full electrical boat will only offer highly limited cruising. Just reed Jimmy Cornells story about his failed "Elcano challenge", he is a highly experienced and capable sailor who tried (but failed) to sail the world with his brand new purpose built full electric Outremer (a boat that is probably 10 times as expensive as this Aventura if not more).
If you can afford and want a new boat, this catamaran is a decent option. If you are like the rest of us, then a used sailboat is a much more affordable and reasonable option.
why not waiting for THIS boat to hit the used market? you might find it at 120k eur or less
they are not made in Italy. they are made in Tunisia. the quality is not what you think. check out the comments from the previous owners. According to some comments, Price out of the factory is a huge difference.
i'd honestly trust better a cat homebuild and homedesigned than anything build in tunisia
Any dealers in southwest coast of Florida??????????????? Near Ft.Myers Florida?????????????
Wonder if they would sell an empty hull? Anybody asked?
That would be ideal - sequester it away in a workshop for a year while you design and build the interia you want.
Maybe I could wait a few years and get a secondhand one, then I wouldn't feel bad about stripping it all back.
was asking myself the same thing.
would love to do the interior diy and make the hole thing electric.
I suggest you increase the exposure. Auto exposure doesn't work very well with very bright scenes
Very economical
$159,000 AUD would be better. I’d buy for sure.
Divide that by 10 and that is what my liveaboard 9 metre cat cost me. Being 50 year old has something to do with the price but I am happy with my Stellar.
How much
Year
So beautiful I went through a second time and still didn't get enough. I should sell this motorcycle and put the money into lottery tickets!
@@swilhelm3180 When a finger points at the moon the fool sees only the finger.
Probably want to check for sufficient "tabbing" of the bulkheads to the hulls... (ref: sailing parlay revival channel)
How would you plan on doing that? It's brand new they're not going to let you start taking it apart lol. Some times you have to trust or better yet go see them actually building one to find out but then hope they made them all the same so again trust comes into play. Also I hope you don't mean to say because it's cheap then maybe corners were cut because lagoon are the opposite of cheap and well you know, parley.
WOW only weighs about 9K pounds. This one will be very easy to tip over .. looks like great fun .. lol.
Really nice, but the fit on the cabinetry and the shelving is pretty sketchy for something that costs this much. Lots of gaps. I don't think you would see that in a comparably priced RV.
For that price, it is a steal. I did not like the dolphin seat angle.
Pretty trick. Single spreader.....single handed! Be real careful in high seas.
How much 💰?
wow
Nice little boat. Adding some electronics and options here and there will boost it but it still looks like a lot of nice boat for the price.
