- In this video, we'll be taking a look at how COPS attempt to stop SNIPERS in GTA Games! (GTA 3 to GTA 5) -- GTA 5 Enhanced and Expanded + GTA 6 (GTA VI) will also be covered on this Channel whenever they release.
In each game, we'll test Cops logic & their ability to reach & engage the player as a Sniper shooter. We'll also examine how their A.I. evolved through the years (2001 - 2021).

Fun fact, in GTA V if youre in a really open area with 5 wanted level, sometimes the chopper will land to deploy the NOOSE units.
And then u shoot the pilot when he lands it and u got a heli boom success escape sometimes
Did anyone notice in gta games, when you select a gun with a one star level....the police pulls his gun? And when you select a melee weapon, he disarms and choose his baton

Yes I have, bit not really that much in vice city.
So I was casually playing vice city and I was trying to help a cop chasing a thief. I punched the thief and then that idiot attacked me instead 😒
Now here's the weird thing....
I got on top of the stairs of the Washington beach police station with a star wanted level and that cop started bugging, but then a car appeared, I got on top of it, and the cop shot me then. (I was unarmed in both times)
Then another time, I shot a npc and a nearby cop just beat me with his nitestick (while I was armed). So your maybe right, but maybe some bugs happen to prevent that. Good noticing by the way.

Rockstar should focus on stealth and melee combat elements in GTA 6 cuz those areas is the only place where gta 5 lacks. They should also improve the ragdoll physics too as if there is a jump that is possible the height underneath determines that the game triggers ragdoll. it was perfect in gta 4 they did not need to change that.
Yeah, IIRC R* toned down the ragdoll and physics stuff for the folks playing on potatoes

But, you showed one case of the deal for gta san andreas and gta iv.
You showed us a building that obviously had no entrance or staircase for cops to reach you.
If you are on a building that has staircase both in san andreas and iv, cops are following you up there.
In gta iv especially if there is a nearby building with staircase they use it to climb near you and they shoot at you.
